The Young And The Restless Spoilers reveal that Mariah came face to face with Ian and he was holding onto her wife, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks). Mariah and Ian share a very disturbing history on the show.

Tessa had heard some of the story but she had no idea that the prison minister was none other than Ian Ward.

Ian unfortunately showed up as Jordan Howard’s (Colleen Zenk) latest accomplice in her vendetta against the Newmans. Jordan and Ian have a great deal in common. Both of them have an obsession with the Newmans. Ian has served his time and is free. However, Jordan is on the run and no one knows she is involved.

Ian stole Mariah as an infant when Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) gave birth to her and Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes). Sharon never knew for years that she had given birth to twins for years. Cassie ended up in foster care after Ian took Mariah. Ian later tried to drive Sharon crazy by having Mariah to act like Cassie.

Ian also forced Mariah to marry him. Mariah seduced Nick Newman (Joshua Hoffman) and Sharon ended up kicking her out of the house. After Ian got his hands on Mariah, he drugged her and made her wear a white dress. Mariah was unable to escape but she refused to marry Ian. Eventually, Sharon and Nick arrived to rescue her.

Mariah learns that Sharon is her mother. Mariah also had a lot of trauma caused by everything Ian had done to her. Now Mariah has been traumatized again thanks to Ian’s untimely return. Unfortunately, Ian is still just as obsessed with Mariah as he always was. Will Mariah be able to stay out of his grasp?

Or course, Ian will once again try to get his hands on Mariah and take off with her. Mariah is happy in the life she has made for herself and wants nothing to do with him. However, Mariah has her wife and daughter to protect as well. Can Mariah keep Tessa and their daughter safe from Ian? Can Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) protect his family?
