The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has gone missing.

Then, a preview clip shows Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) also disappears without a trace. So, where could they be and what is going on now? Here are four wild possibilities!

Ian Ward’s Vengeful Return

Fans recall that Ian Ward (Ray Wise) was targeting both Sharon and Phyllis. Ian had a showdown at the Newman Ranch.

While both Ian and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) were both shot, the villain was pronounced dead at the scene. However, fans know that Ian opened his eyes in the ambulance.

That left the door open for a possible return. With the head writer teasing that Sharon and Phyllis would be in a life-or-death situation, it sounds like this storyline is playing out for us now.

Phyllis Summers’ Revenge

Of course, Phyllis always swore that she would make Sharon feel pain for her actions. Phyllis told Sharon and everyone else in Genoa City. Phyllis made it no secret that one day, something could happen to Sharon.

So, with both women now missing, could Phyllis have decided to strike back? It doesn’t seem likely as Phyllis never misses a breakfast with her kids. It is still a logical explanation, though.

Paris Shenanigans

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that before Phyllis disappeared, she fantasized about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

Phyllis just can’t wrap her head around Billy being with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). So, could Phyllis have done something totally crazy and is on a plane headed to Paris right now?

Phyllis has done some crazy things like this before, so it could happen again.

Mystery & Secrets

It’s also possible that Phyllis will just disappear for several weeks or even months. Phyllis was really excited about having Daniel Romalotti, Jr. (Michael Grazaidei) on board at Billy’s company. However, then Phyllis called Billy to tell him that Daniel agreed.

That is when Phyllis learned that Billy wasn’t as excited as she was. In fact, Phyllis was starting to think that maybe Billy was just granting her favors. So, that could have Phyllis wondering if she’s making another wrong turn. 

Phyllis wouldn’t just run away, especially from her children. However, Phyllis could be going through her own mental health struggle. Maybe Phyllis is just really lost. If Phyllis doesn’t want to be found right now, then she won’t leave any bread crumbs.

While everyone knows Phyllis has disappeared before, they all keep saying she wouldn’t do it so soon after the Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) saga. Or would she?
