The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is counting on Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) being weak.
She joined his mutual loathing society when deciding to turn against Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Victor wants to mine that grudge.
One of the seven deadly sins is pride, and Audra’s was hurt when Kyle coldly discarded her. She didn’t reveal her true feelings at the time, but Audra was falling in love with Kyle.
Victor is playing into that unhealed wound by asking her to pretend to make a play for Kyle and, if successful, win a return to Newman Enterprises in an undefined dream job.
Since the mutual Glissade disaster, Kyle has moved on to Claire Newman (Hayley Erin). Audra has her in the same category as Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), who is Claire’s cousin and Kyle’s multiple-time wife. Being discarded by Kyle, who accepted both ladies into his life, cut deep.
Victor Newman Wants Additional Weapons
Victor is in the midst of yet another scheme. He is tapping any resource possible as part of the latest effort to push pain into Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) world.
Jack is Victor’s target. Kyle is simply part of the collateral damage the Moustache believes will be created when he takes Jabot apart.
The help Victor is seeking is unusual because Audra was discarded recently. Viewers recall that she was happy to help Victor pry Glissade away from Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), believing she would be rewarded when being elevated to its head.
However, Victor had other ideas. He was simultaneously leveraging Kyle’s family dysfunction, using parental problems, mainly with Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters), to lure him to Glissade. Audra and Kyle temporarily headed that fragrance company until Victor was tired of them.
Audra Charles Needs A Job
Audra has been out of work for a while. But she’s been taking her time to attempt to make her next career move.
Coming to Genoa City, Wisconsin, tied to Tucker, didn’t prove fruitful. The dysfunctional mix of a business and very personal relationship went nowhere for her and eventually led to the character St. John formerly played leaving town.
Audra’s connection with Kyle proved to be no more than a dalliance. He was never in love with her, a primary motivator in her wrath and another on the deadly sin list.
Greed is not something Kyle can be charged with. Audra scolded the cliched silver spoon in his mouth, with her enjoyment of money hard to argue. Yet, accusing her of another deadly sin, greed, goes too far.
Nate Hastings Is A Good Influence
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) was envious of the wrong people after he was forced to leave the medical profession and go into the cutthroat business world. But he recognized the error of his ways, made amends with his family, and loved Audra sincerely.
Silver’s character recognizes Nate as the first man she’s come to love, with reciprocation being equal. She wasn’t candid about her relationship with
Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) doesn’t appear to have been in the lust category.
Audra didn’t say no to Victor’s offer. Nate saw the exchange and wants to help Audra see that any involvement with Victor isn’t worth it, no matter the claimed reward.
