Restaurants had video security systems back then when VHS tapes were standard. Today’s digital systems are far superior, providing wide-angle, zoom-in capability that should disprove Ian’s boasts about being reformed.

If viewers don’t see this common-sense request explored or learn that Society’s video system didn’t record Ian’s exact moves, then this storyline will be punted rather than pushed.

Sharon was in the parking lot, ready to join everyone inside at Society when Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) rendered her unconscious and then transported her to GC’s outskirts.

It was sad to see Sharon’s face taped and her hands bound. But that’s what Ian told Jordan to do, and she complied.

Nick warned Ian. However, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will raise the threat level to its maximum altitude.

Victor won’t possibly allow Ian to roam the streets unimpeded, especially after it’s realized that Sharon is missing. This mystery’s elements will become apparent now that Ian is back and Case’s character is missing.

Nick suspected that something was off with Sharon’s medication. Now, her absence on New Year’s Eve will signal that dark forces set her up for Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) murder.

Malevolence comes in the form of two people, Ian and Jordan. They intend to exact revenge to the end in GC, though they, not the Newmans, are likely doomed.
