Y&R Spoilers: Sharon’s Redemption, Only Way To Earn Phyllis & Summer’s Forgiveness?

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is trying to start her next chapter.

However, Sharon truly wants to earn forgiveness from Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).

There might be only one thing that can do this, though. Keep reading and let’s talk about the possibilities!

Sharon Newman Cleared

Although Sharon has been cleared in Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) death, she committed other crimes. As Summer recently mentioned, Sharon framed Daniel Romalotti, Jr. (Michael Grazaidei).

Sharon also dumped Heather’s body in the river and cleaned up the bloody mess. While Sharon’s meds were tainted with PCP, it’s a lot for anyone to forgive.

Summer Newman’s Icy Stance

Although Summer knows that the PCP affected Sharon’s decisions, she still can’t forgive her. Sharon recently asked Summer what she could say or do.

Summer told Sharon that there isn’t anything and basically just wanted her to steer clear. Of course, Summer was the one that went into Sharon’s coffee shop to begin with!

Phyllis Summers’ Unforgiveness

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Phyllis has foreshadowed that she will never forgive Sharon. However, often times when characters say never, they are later forced to eat their words!

Plus, if Phyllis can earn redemption for faking her own death and all the crimes she’s committed, then so can Sharon.

2025 Preview Interview

TV Insider spoke with head writer and executive producer Josh Griffith. In that 2025 preview interview, the scribe teased something exciting for Sharon and Phyllis.

“Sharon and Phyllis will be thrown into a life-or-death situation where they’re both going to have to reevaluate their relationship.”

At the time, it was assumed that Sharon and Phyllis could be hostages together. Some fans also thought that Phyllis would rescue Sharon.

Sharon’s life was clearly in danger, but the part about Phyllis has not played out yet. So, that indicates there is still a twist coming up, maybe with Ian Ward’s (Ray Wise) fake death.

It might take more than Sharon saving Phyllis to earn redemption. Sharon might need to save someone Phyllis can’t live without, such as Summer, Daniel, or even Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant).

Perhaps Sharon might also have a hand in saving Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) if he ever faces another kidnapping. In any case, there are still some twists and turns coming up.
