Y&R Spoilers: Philly Reunion Triggers Daniel & Sally Romance

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate there’s a very good chance that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) reunites with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

He helped rescue her and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) from their Havenhurst clinic nightmare, and all arrows are pointing to these two Abbott Communications colleagues diving into another romance.

But what will happen to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) when she finds herself suddenly single?

Phyllis Summers’ Animosity

It’s obvious that Phyllis still has lingering animosity toward Sally. Some of it may be about her romance with Billy (and the fact that Phyllis wants Billy back), but some of it could lead to a larger storyline.

How vexed would Phyllis get if she ended up “winning” back Billy, breaking up his relationship with Sally, only for Genoa City’s “other redhead” to wind up romancing her son, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei)? It would be like a massive kick in the butt for Phyllis.

After all, Billy could end up being her “man”, but Daniel is her son. If Phyllis thought that Sally wasn’t good enough for Billy, there’s no way she could touch Daniel’s level, in his mom’s eyes.

It’s Time For Daniel Romalotti To Move On

With that said, it is time for Daniel to move on. In the real world, mourning the loss of Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) could and would take years, but this is the land of Genoa City and fans would love to see the character in another romance.

Sally and Daniel could make a sizzling and interesting couple. She’s a bit eclectic, as a fashion designer and interior decorator, which mirrors Daniel’s artistic talents both with painting and what he does in the land of video games.

Still, it’s undeniable that his mother would have a huge issue with Sally being in his orbit, and the animosity felt by both women may come to a massive head if Phyllis sticks her nose in Daniel’s (and Sally’s) business.
