The Young and the Restless will be pre-empted on Thursday, March 20, and Friday, March 21 due to March Madness – the NCAA college basketball tournament. The soap will be back to its regularly scheduled programming as of Monday, March 24.

Phyllis Summers’ Freakout

Across town, The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will have a bit of a freakout next week, and who could blame her?

The woman may be dealing with some trauma from her recent kidnapping. During the Wednesday, March 19 show, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) found her dad, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) at Crimson and relayed her concern about how odd her mom was acting.

Still, during the preview video for the week of March 24-28, a clip is shown of Phyllis having a meltdown at the park when Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) stumbles across her. Phyllis asks for Billy’s help so that her kids won’t see her in this condition, and he’ll oblige, but will Phyllis be, okay?

Traci Abbott’s Fake Boyfriend Drama

Meanwhile, the preview video for the week of March 24-28 also shows Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) ranting to her brother Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) at Crimson, in tears.

When Jack questions why Traci is upset, she replies this is about Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins). She goes on to say that she isn’t sure that her boyfriend is who he claims he is.

Could Traci be on to the fact that Alan is really his evil twin brother, Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins)?
