Y&R Spoilers: Jordan Forces Newmans Into Vulnerable Position

While Ian Ward (Ray Wise) was capturing Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), Jordan was chloroform Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) as the clock struck twelve.

Ringing in the new year with two crimes in progress was a jarring way to end 2024 in Genoa City, Wisconsin. Viewers were left wondering how long the new year will bleed until a full resolution, if any, is realized for both monstrously great villains.

Ian recently told Jordan that more blood needed to be spilled. Shortly thereafter, both characters went into action. Jordan’s blonde wig and Ian’s dark hat barely concealing their open intentions.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sharon Newman Goes Out In Public

Sharon didn’t want her girls, Mariah and Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster), to miss out on New Year’s Eve festivities. So, she got all dressed up and told them and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) that they would have a good time at Society, where Tessa was working.

Fairbanks’ character has been working for a year at Society, with viewers recalling that Tessa was purposely written into that setting. After hiring Tessa to take the lead, Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) spent far less time at her restaurant.

A bit of soapy timing occurred when Ian stopped at the popular dining spot and asked Tessa if he could have a reservation for two.

She checked her digital reservation list, said no, and then went to check on customers. That sequence allowed him to drug her water bottle, which surely was captured on Abby’s security cameras for later viewing.

Ian was fuming when he learned that Jordan’s manipulation of Sharon’s medication was spotted. Nick had a hunch that something was off and took her disposed medication to a laboratory.

Sure enough, Nick’s instinct was correct. Sharon’s pills were laced with an illicit drug, but no one knew who did that or why.

Ian’s belief that the drug-lacing would be traced back to them wasn’t entirely logical. But it led to him coercing Jordan to increase her veiled appearances. He also began venturing out, knowing that eventually he’d be spotted.

Mariah became the first person to recognize her former cult leader’s presence while he was clutching Tessa, who was short of breath.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Jordan Howard Is Crazed

Jordan believes that the Newman family wronged her. She has long believed that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is responsible for her sister’s death.

Zenk’s character also feels that Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) abandoned her when she needed her most, and doing so led to her imprisonment in Victor’s dungeon. Of course, all of Jordan’s ideas reflect the scrambled mind of a lunatic.

The first moments of 2025 and more to follow will be intense. Jordan and Ian have claimed excessive power over their targets.

So, it falls on those who aren’t under their control to rescue their loved ones and hopefully do that before Ian’s proclamation that blood stains the streets of this Midwestern city and the hearts of the widening group that’s being targeted.
