Y&R Spoilers: Ian Intends To Finish What Jordan Started

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Ian Ward (Ray Wise) arrives at the new Ranch house, intent on creating a dramatic ending. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is waiting for him, meaning this won’t be a fair fight.

Few have ever bested the Moustache. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is one of the few who have. His wife, Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters), is another.

Ian’s non-romantic connection in crime, Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk), just died in front of Victor and some other members of his prized family. So, unless something highly soapy happens, Jordan will be of no use to Ian anymore.

Ian’s initial appearance on the show dates back more than a decade. It was revealed that he was one of the people who were responsible for knowingly keeping Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) unknown twin daughter in his cult.

Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) was brainwashed as she grew up, with her backstory generally paralleling what Jordan did to Claire Newman (Hayley Erin). Ian followed Mariah to Genoa City, Wisconsin, many years after she broke free from his hold.

However, Ian also had a history with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), claiming he was her son’s father, Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton). But that proved to be a false claim because Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) was Dylan’s father.

Y&R Spoilers – Victor Newman Traded Barbs And Brussels Sprouts

One of the more hilarious and well-played scenes involved Braeden and Zenk working together in what was said to be the Newman Ranch dungeon. This was at the second Ranch house location, months before Victor built the newest home.

The second Ranch house still exists, with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) recently accepting his father’s offer to move in with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). But that location seemingly eliminated the makeshift jail cell Victor created for Jordan.

The scenes where Victor and Jordan traded barbs and Brussels sprouts were fantastic. That was another example of how two veteran actors elevate their games to an entirely new level, with the audience likely seeing masterful, joint improvisation. He punished her for trying to kill him and others many months ago.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Ian Ward Reaches The End

The end of Ian’s current storyline appears at hand. Whether that means he dies is a more profound question.

It would be a statement resolution to this long tale to have Jordan and Ian both die. That would forever eliminate two great character actors who have ever been part of this cast.

Zenk was hired in 2023. Wise’s run dates back to 2014.

Ian will have a blood-stained shirt, as a posted teaser photo from the set implied in the recent past. But whether he dies as a result of the apparent gunshot will soon be known.
