Ian is enraged but still determined to make peace with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). He’s been forced to go it alone and remains fixed on Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) as the person he’ll use to get through to the girl he thinks of as his daughter.

Claire and Mariah are the two best characters to deal with Jordan and Ian. They know their tormentors better than anyone and are equally motivated to stop them once and for all.

Claire believes she’s convinced Jordan that the plan to kill Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is real. It was a masterstroke to go hard against her great aunt at Chancellor Park, telling her she was off her game. The intent to provoke her worked, for now.

Mariah hasn’t been able to stop Ian from making contact with Tessa. Fairbank’s character allows her to believe that Ian might be sincere, but that outlook is dangerous. So, Mariah will likely feel compelled to become directly involved in Ian’s likely last outcome.

Y&R Spoilers – Victor Newman Gets Involved

Thankfully, Victor overheard his wife, oldest daughter, and reclaimed granddaughter at the new Ranch House. When finding them together, he was suspicious of the ladies because Claire had departed that conversation.

Victor knows that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria, and Claire worked independently to trap Jordan in the recent past. That was when Nikki took the high road and called for help after Jordan attempted to poison herself.

The developing plan Claire intends to exact is for her or her, Nikki, and Victoria to eliminate Jordan. Victor’s intervention is implied, with a dramatic but unpredictable result.

Jordan did not resign from living out her days in prison. But her options seemed nil until Ian happened upon her. The Reverend eventually told her that their common enemy had made them allies.

But this pairing was never friends and didn’t seem romantically inclined. Instead, they were using each other, with Jordan aiding Ian’s claimed first half of his master plan.

The split Jordan forced likely leads to each villain selling out or setting up the other for a fall. A double exit would be most satisfying to all Genoa City, Wisconsin, devotees, especially if it happens in the same setting.

Who plays the hero or heroes and whether any regular contract players become collateral damage will be worth the watch.
