Y&R Shuts Down Any Hope On Sally & Adam Reunion

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate the soap recently shut the door on any hopes for a Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) romantic reunion.

The Friday, February 14 episode centered around some Valentine’s Day, dreams for three major characters, and during it all dropped a massive hint to Ally fans that Sally and Adam were through, for good. More details on this, below.

Adam Newman’s Reunion Dream

The Valentine’s Day show revealed some dreams from Adam, as well as Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).

While Phyllis had romantic interactions with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) in Paris in her dream, and Sharon was solidifying a reunion with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) at Crimson Lights in hers, Adam’s dream centered on getting back together with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). Actually, things were going well for Chadam in Adam’s fantasy – that is, until Sally arrived on scene.

Adam Newman Slams The Door On Ally Romance

As soon as Sally arrived in the dream, Chelsea oddly disappeared. Sally told Adam she forgave him for the Baltimore cheating incident and understood why he and Chelsea did what they did.

She asked for a second chance; however, Adam told his ex that when she rightfully broke up with him after the one-night stand, he had let her go.

The entire scene seemed to offer an added layer of closure for Adam and Sally fans. In fact, it almost implied that even if Sally were to want Adam back in real life, his heart belonged to Chelsea.

With that said, outside of Adam’s recent dream, Chelsea seems very adamant to keep things the way they are between her and Adam.

The two have a strong co-parenting relationship. As it takes two to tango in a reunion, until Chelsea drops her guard, Adam will continue to long for a Chadam romance, on his own.
