Young And The Restless Spoilers: Jack And Diane Plot Against Victor’s Mole Strategy

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) are united.

Their awareness of Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) irrational grudge against them may also reverse the soapy tables.

As the audience knows, Victor has been working for months in a renewed effort to pay back Jack, who he holds responsible for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) almost dying. Of course, Jack putting his life at risk shocked Nikki back from her fall off the wagon.

Fans also were informed by Michael Baldwin’s (Christian Le Blanc) recent comments. He told Victor their paid mole inside Jabot was asking for a higher payout to maintain his cover.

Victor Newman Can’t Help Himself

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) has been getting along well with his parents after healing the rift that Victor exploited.

The Moustache attempts to dig into what is still an open wound by trying to convince the woman Kyle spurned to gaslight him romantically.

Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) appears enticed by Victor’s dastardly pitch. He knows that she felt wronged by Kyle when he fired her at Glissade.

So, the head of the Newman clan wants Audra to make Kyle believe she wants to be involved with him.

Victor does this because he wants to pull Kyle away from his granddaughter, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin). If that happens, the Abbott family will be destabilized, which is also part of the larger agenda.

Kyle Abbott Ferrets Out The Mole

Kyle recently told his father that one of their employees, Matheson (no last name or actor’s name known for this character), asked some unusual questions.

The intent of the queries was very similar to the type of information Victor tasked Kyle with obtaining when he was working with him and against Jack and Diane while at Glissade.

It’s implied that Matheson is the man Michael referred to when telling Victor that their amoral plant at Jabot wants more money to further the corporate espionage play.

Assuming that’s an accurate assessment, based on information the audience has been given, Matheson is the type of shady personality type that can be turned.

Jack Abbott Is A Match For The Moustache

Jack has lost many battles to Victor. But as devoted fans know, he’s also won on occasion.

It felt like a victory when Jack revealed that he bought pieces of Glissade on the cheap when Victor sold them off. However, it’s possible that Victor believed Jack would make that chess move and was a step or more ahead.

Yet, Victor’s arrogant certainty about the Abbott family’s collapse and belief that Jabot is also facing doom creates an opportunity.

Jack knows Victor has a condescending attitude toward him. This is partially based on his resentment that John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) was a good father and that Victor’s father, Albert Miller (George Kennedy), was a lout.

The latest Victor-Jack confrontation involves many moving parts with no sure outcome.
It would be good soap if Matheson became a double agent or if one or more moles were inside Newman Enterprises.
