Winter Everett From The Family Chantel Is Officially Engaged

Winter Everett from The Family Chantel announced that she had become engaged. So, on social media, plenty of people speculated that she might be with Michael Ilesanmi. The estranged husband of Angela Deem from 90 Day Fiance, however, isn’t the only person of color in the USA. Read on for more details about the latest hookup news on TLC.

The Engagement Announcement 

Winter announced the engagement some weeks after she first teased a new guy in her life. On Instagram on Thursday, she shared a short video of herself hugging a man, but she kept his face away from the camera. In the room, a bunch of blue and white balloons decorated the special day. 

In her caption, the former The Family Chantel star wrote, “Plot twist: I’m somebody’s fiancée now!” adding, “BRB, planning a wedding.”

The secrecy about the man’s identity can only mean one of two things: He wants his privacy. Or she’s under an NDA, and they will appear in a future spinoff in the TLC franchise. 

Fans Hope It’s Michael

In the comments section of the post, many people hoped that she had become engaged to Michael Ilesanmi. One person wrote, “Congrats Winter and Michael! or whoever he is.” Meanwhile, another participant in the discussion assumed, “Omg it really is Michael!! So happy for…you both!!”

The trouble with the theory that it’s Michael seems a bit flawed. Firstly, he seems to have less hair than the man in the video. Secondly, in mid-February, he shared on his YouTube account that nobody should believe rumors that he’s either dating or lined up for any role on TLC.

Additionally, he’s still married to Angela Deem. Then, there’s the inconvenience of Winter Everett living in Atlanta, Georgia, while Michael is believed to be living in Texas. 

Previous Rumors

In August of 2023, rumors linked Asuelu Pulaa and Winter. That came after 90 Day: The Last Resort, when he admitted he had an affair and cheated on Kalani Faagata. Not long after that, the two reality TV stars were seen looking very cozy together.

However, it seems unlikely ot be Asuelu. For a start, what is the likelihood that Karen Everett would accept him in the family? Plus, he’s either left the country or he’s trolling fans on his whereabouts.

At one stage, he was even teasing about being in Zimbabwe, where he allegedly married a woman from that country. But hours later, he shared a reel from stateside. 

For now, it seems that reality TV viewers just need to be patient, and in time, they are likely to find out who Winter Everett became engaged to.
