What’s Next For GH’s Vile Drew – 3 Storylines That Could Make Or Break The Character

General Hospital’s (GH) Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) continues to sink to new levels of low.

His spiral began shortly after he was released from Pentonville and his twin brother, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) returned from the dead earlier in the year and fans can’t help but wonder what’s next for him.

He’s easily one of the most hated characters on soaps today, so where does the character go from here?

Storyline #1 – Drew Quartermaine Continues To Spiral

From trying to seduce Willow Tait-Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), while also bedding her mom, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to actually doing the deed with his nephew Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) wife and destroying their marriage; Drew continues to spiral and is getting his feet wet as a bonefide villain.

Over the recent months, fans have believed Drew was a slimeball; however, after this week, he could be headed into uglier territory.

After all, he reached out to Selina Wu (Lydia Look) for incriminating information on Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), yet at the same time told Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) that the PCPD’s main priority should be organized crime in the little town and bringing down Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

Is Drew’s next chapter in 2025 is to be far worse than he was in 2024? How many lines will he cross over the next few months?

Storyline #2 – Drew’s Road To Redemption

Then again, a major life incident can change a person’s perspective. Monica Quartermaine banned Drew from the Quartermaine properties, which hit him hard.

As the actress who played Monica, Leslie Charleson, recently passed away, GH fans should anticipate the soap to acknowledge her passing.

Could the fact that Drew never got to say goodbye to his mom be the very thing that triggers a change in him? Will he see how low he’s gotten and commit to changing, if not for his mom’s sake, but his daughter, Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante)?

Storyline #3 – Drew’s Storyline Exit

It’s important to note that neither Cameron Mathison nor the soap has mentioned the Drew character exiting, but he’s accumulating a ton of enemies, especially now that he’s targeting Sonny and Jason. Could a “Who Dun It” storyline unravel with Drew at the helm?
