Beyond The Gates spoilers and updates reveal fans are buzzing with excitement for the upcoming soap that’s set to debut in just over a week, and it seems CBS shares that enthusiasm.
The network has unveiled a thrilling new promo that highlights its fresh lineup of soaps, with BTG taking center stage in the sneak peek.
The video kicks off with the gates of Fairmont Crest swinging open, accompanied by the phrase, “CBS Daytime Is Soapier,” flashing on the screen alongside a playful emoji covering its eyes.
BTG’s Dani Dupree, portrayed by Karla Mosley, confidently declares, “I am done with being disrespected,” as the scene transitions to RHOP’s Karen Huger, who snaps her fingers, exclaiming “Welcome to Fairmont Crest!”
This sets off a dynamic montage of clips from CBS’s trio of daytime dramas: BTG, The Young and the Restless (Y&R), and The Bold and the Beautiful, in a thrilling 25-second promo.
Dramatic moments are highlighted, such as B&B’s Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) trapped in a cage, and Y&R’s Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) in steamy bedroom scenes.
Additionally, BTG’s Dani Dupree slaps her husband’s mistress-turned-fiancé, Hayley Lawson (Marquita Goings), among other intense scenes, as the CBS promo features the words ‘Flirtier’, ‘Dirtier’, ‘Sexier’, ‘Riskier’, and ‘Soapier’.
The preview wraps up with Y&R’s Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) sharing a tender moment, as Diane playfully remarks, “Oh, I like the sound of that.”
The video’s dramatic finale features BTG’s Dani unexpectedly splashing champagne (or wine) in the face of her husband, Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett), who sits at a table, utterly shocked. BTG’s highly anticipated premiere is set to air on CBS on Monday, February 24, at 2 p.m. ET.
This new soap will follow Y&R, which runs from 12:30-1:30 p.m. ET, and B&B, airing from 1:30-2:00 p.m. ET. But, to start the drama there’s even more, starting Monday, February 17.
Beginning Monday, February 17, tune in from 2:00-2:30 PM ET and 1:00-1:30 PM PT for a series of half-hour specials hosted by Kevin Frazier from Entertainment Tonight and comedian Sheryl Underwood.
They will take viewers on an exclusive journey behind the scenes, showcasing the sets, introducing the cast and crew, and even featuring the inaugural table read of the new CBS soap.
As highlighted in the official press release, audiences will get a unique glimpse into how “Beyond the Gates” masterfully intertwines authenticity, representation, and storytelling to create a truly distinctive series.
The soapy afternoon schedule for Monday, February 17-Friday, February 21 will start with Y & R, then new B & B, BTG specials then classic B & B. Then Monday February 24 starts the normal one hour episodes of the new soap, after B & B with Y & R leading the group.
