TLC Renews Reality Show Baylen Out Loud For Season 2

In a new press release from TLC, Baylen Out Loud has been a huge hit and has been renewed for a second season. Baylen, who has Tourette Syndrome, has become a social media conversation piece as she reveals her “tics.”

TLC has renewed Baylen Out Loud for season 2

Baylen Out Loud is a TLC reality show, telling the inspiring story of Baylen Dupree, 22, who lives with Tourette syndrome.

Since season 1 dropped on Monday, January 13, it has become an instant hit and has garnered more than 14.7 million viewers across both linear and streaming platforms and is on track to become cable’s most-watched new unscripted series among adults and women aged 25-54.

For this reason, TLC has announced that Baylen Out Loud is renewed for season 2. Meanwhile, talking of the show’s success, Howard Lee,  Chief Creative Officer of US Networks, said in a statement:

We are incredibly proud of the success of Baylen Out Loud and are pleased to announce its renewal for a new season. Baylen’s journey embodies TLC’s dedication to highlighting people from all walks of life, offering remarkable, yet relatable stories.

Her transparency, humor, and strength have truly connected with viewers, and she continues to inspire us all.

Moreover, the reality show has attracted almost 200 million on TikTok alone. Meanwhile, Baylen Out Loud has attracted more than 250,000 fan comments across TLC’s social platforms.

About Tourette syndrome

According to the Mayo Clinic, Tourette syndrome (TS) is “a disorder that involves repetitive movements or unwanted sounds (tics) that can’t be easily controlled.”

Before the TLC reality show premiered, Dupree told TODAY.com what it was like to live with Tourette syndrome, saying:

I don’t want to be what Tourette looks like in everyone because Tourette does look different in everyone.

However, she does admit there are unpredictable challenges:

Some days it’s brutal the whole day, and some days it’s better than others. I would like to say that I don’t tic 24/7, but it consumes a lot of my day and a lot of my time.
