See the Message Prince William Shared On Social Media and Immediately Deleted

In his first post since returning from the holiday, Prince William shared a message hat could have been gravely controversial if he hadn’t deleted it moments later. Here’s what it is.

Prince William Meets and Congratulates England’s Men’s National Football Team Manager

Apart from being a big football fan, Prince William is also the President of the Football Association – a role that he’s proudly held since 2006.

In his latest engagement, the father of three met and shook hands with the new manager for England’s national football team, Thomas Tuchel, at Windsor Castle.

Following the meeting, William shared a welcome post for the new manager on X, writing, “Great to meet new @england manager Thomas Tuchel for the first time today, and hear about plans for the team.”

Before fans could blink and consider reacting to it, it was deleted and replaced with the more appropriate message, “Great to meet new @england men’s manager Thomas Tuchel for the first time today, and hear about plans for the team.”

In 2023, William had presented the England women’s coach Sarina Wiegman with her CBE. He continues to be a proud supporter of the Lionesses, even though he drew some backlash when he missed the women’s world cup that same year.

Tuchel, who was born in Germany, stepped in as the England men’s manager in January, following Gareth Southgate’s departure.

William has supported the Men’s National Football team several times in recent years. And apart from that, he’s also a passionate supporter of Aston Villa.

He’s been seen on the stands at the Premiere League and Champion League matches. He once revealed that his son Prince George has picked up on his love of football. Even though George isn’t necessarily an Aston Villa fan, he has accompanied his father to some of their matches.
