Princess Kate Experienced “Tiredness” During Christmas Morning Walkabout

Every year on Christmas Day, the royal family attends church service and spares time to meet and greet fans and well-wishers after the service. This year, despite the tough year that the family has had, they continued this long-standing tradition.

The Princess of Wales joined her husband and children to greet and receive flowers and gifts from several members of the crowd, but according to a body language expert, she wasn’t exactly full on in the mood to participate. Her smile shined nonetheless.

The couple that smile together stay together – at least that’s how I think the Prince and Princess of Wales’ version of the old saying goes.

While the public still got to see Princess Kate’s radiant smile, she wasn’t exactly smiling through it all. However, at one point, she wore one of the biggest smiles she put on display that day, and according to body language expert Judi James, it was “perhaps the biggest body language cue of the current relationship.”

James said: “She looked across at William and they exchanged a glance that came with an ignited smile, meaning her expression responded to his grin with an instant and wide smile of her own.” Awwww.

James continued: “His strongest moment of support here came at a distance then, but it was a powerful tie-sign between them nevertheless and with that response smile in place, Kate went out to greet the fans looking genuinely happy and touched.”

The gesture was especially meaningful following the hard year the Princess had endured undergoing preventative chemotherapy.

She happily didn’t go through all this alone, but had the support of her family, and this was something she highlighted in her end-of-chemotherapy video in September.

So I guess no one can blame the Wales couple for having a “strong desire to create a happy and worry-free Christmas day for their three children.”
