Prince William is Already Showing the People the Type of King He Will Become

Prince William is knee-deep in making the decisions that will ensure the long-term survival of the monarchy, and he’s not even King yet.

The royal is said to have his sights set on the goals he wants to achieve and the legacy he wants to leave behind that there’s no time in his busy schedule for drama.

Prince William Has Gained More Influence These Few Months As King Undergoes Cancer Treatments

There is no room for scandals or drama in Prince William’s court, and that means that the royal is going to be sparing no headspace for brother Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle and his uncle, Prince Andrew.

“It’s no secret that anyone who pushes back against him will be swiftly shown the door,” a palace insider told the InTouch. “He’s not willing to take any nonsense and the word is he’s already on his way to being the toughest ruler the family has ever seen.”

The insider continued to claim that William has “never been more influential” than he has been in recent months, and he’s already deadset on “making decisions that he feels will benefit the Crown in the long run.”

This transition of power is also voluntarily made, as King Charles wants to take more time to himself amid his cancer treatments.

According to the source, the King is not only “bestowing more responsibility on [William],” he is “by all accounts acknowledging that his time to rule will be sooner, rather than later.”

Prince William’s Agenda As Future King Explained

Insiders believe that one of the top things on the Prince of Wales’ agenda is improving the image of the monarchy, which took a hit when Harry and Meghan stepped down from their roles as senior royals and launched several attacks at it. Prince Andrew’s scandals didn’t help either.

“[William] wants expenses to be monitored closely, and any fat trimmed straightaway,” the insider said. “He doesn’t want there to be any sense that special perks are being handed out to the royals.”

In addition to this, William has always been big on climate change and environmental causes, so it makes sense that it will be a big part of his agenda when he becomes the ruling monarch.

“He’s all about the environment, so he’s pushing hard to be front and center in that respect and has put out this edict that the rest of the family needs to get on board with being as green as possible. Private flights and that sort of thing are being frowned on.”

“The days of wasteful spending and overconsumption are ending now that William is at the helm,” the source added.
