Prince Harry Regrets How He Treated His Grandmother, The Queen?

British royal family news reveals that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle dropped a stink bomb in 2020 with their announcement that they were ditching the monarchy.

At that time they were senior, working members of the Royal Family but in their own words they coveted money more than family and so they hopped on a private jet and couched surfed at Tyler Perry’s house.

It was a snarky, side-eye statement and now comes word that Harry regrets how he handled the delicate, disloyal situation.

Royal Family News – Harry Has Regrets?

Back in 2020 Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the world shocked after announcing that they were no longer happy at the palace and planned to dump the Royal Family.

Instead of a dignified response, they chose to announce the news on social media, and reportedly didn’t tell his family beforehand. This was a tacky move that some allege Harry now regrets.

The Sussexes wrote of their desire for privacy and financial freedom via an Instagram post on January 8, 2020: “After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution. We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family, and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen.”

This pithy announcement reportedly took many by surprise, not the least of whom was the late Queen. It was reported that she was “blindsided” by the revelation and according to the Telegraph, Harry later felt remorseful for his trashy behavior.

“A source told the newspaper: I don’t think he fully appreciated the impact the statement would have in terms of them not consulting the Queen. He regrets that.” Only a child would not have had the foresight to act responsibly in this case.

Royal News  – The Queen was Blindsided?

Immediately the regent was forced to confirm the news, saying that Hank and Skank were no longer “full-time working members of the Royal family.”

It is said that the monarch wished that the traitors had not run away but that she understood their “wish to live a more independent life as a family while remaining a valued part of my family.”

In an intermediate statement the Queen announced that “Harry and Meghan have made clear that they do not want to be reliant on public funds in their new lives … there will be a period of transition in which the Sussexes will spend time in Canada and the UK. These are complex matters for my family to resolve, and there is some more work to be done, but I have asked for final decisions to be reached in the coming days.”

Then, in February 2021, Buckingham Palace on confirmed that Harry and Meghan were stepping down permanently: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have confirmed to Her Majesty The Queen that they will not be returning as working members of The Royal Family.”
