Mykelti Padron Slammed For Hinting Meri Was Abusive

It’s been two years since accusations arrived that Meri Brown was abusive and now, TLC viewers are slamming Mykelti Padron for hinting that there was abuse. Read on to discover why they are not siding with the younger Sister Wives star.

Paedon Started The Abuse Claims 

Christine Brown’s son, Padeon Brown, spoke with blogger John Yates and he said he couldn’t say much, but he proceeded to say that Meri was an abusive parent. “We were never safe around her,” he claimed after suggesting that she was verbally aggressive. At the time, he also suggested that Robyn Brown “saved” the kids.

Gwendlyn Brown called her brother out on his claims. Naming Mykelti, Gwen told Sister Wives fans, “[Meri] was scary as a kid but she never attacked me and I only saw her violent once.” 

At first, Mykelti seemed hesitant to talk about the allegation and said in a Q&A, “I don’t recall Meri being physically abusive towards me.” However, she eventually conceded that she wasn’t fond of Kody Brown’s former first wife because she could be harsh with her words.  

Fans Slam Tony’s Wife – Why?

On Reddit this weekend, the abuse claims were again raised. But, Mykleti’s not getting many defenders. The OP also mentioned Janelle’s daughter, Maddie Brown Brush. The Sister wives viewer wrote:

Recently on Mykelt’s patreon she mentions that Meri is just mad that she lost Mykelti’s downline. Maddie said she had a falling out with Meri a few years ago over business – saying that Meri told her she wasn’t working hard enough. From the sounds of things- they got a long well enough with Meri to work with her. Now they call her abusive…it makes me sad that they don’t appreciate some of the nice things she did for them.

The TLC fan ended by saying that in their opinion if they can’t be specific about the allegations, then they shouldn’t “infer that she was abusive.”

Fans Decide Mykelti Wanted Easy Money 

Selling in a downline is not easy and takes a lot of work. So, some Sister Wives fans decided that Mykelti Padron hadn’t wanted to work too hard.

One fan suggested, “It sounds like Maddie and Mykelti joined the MLM hoping to make money but may not have realized how much work creating and maintaining a downline takes.”

Continuing, the participant in the discussion added, “They probably thought it would be easy money. Meri would get them customers, and they would rake in the $$.”

More people chimed in and here are a few more ideas about Mykelti Padron and her siblings regarding Meri Brown:

• I think the kids took their cues from their mothers. The mothers probably didn’t speak well of Meri to their kids because they themselves were feuding with her. They isolated Meri and that included their kids.
• My issue [with] believing anything Mykelti says is that she overlooks the abusive things Robyn and Kody have done. …what Mykelti says about Meri…[makes] me question her angle. She doesn’t seem to care how awful someone is until it impacts her directly.
