Moriah Plath from Welcome to Plathville had an epic journey after she left her job as a server at Georgio’s. Some TLC fans thought it might mean she landed a recording contract. And in a way, music was intertwined with her adventure which seemed anything but a walk in the park.

When the TLC star told her followers on social media that she planned another move with her pup in tow, they wondered where she was going. This weekend, the often quirky character revealed a lot about her destination and her journey. She tackled 11 states, faced a surprise snowstorm in Georgia, and even had a weather-induced pitstop in Minnesota, but she did it with style and a smile.

Moriah Plath took to Instagram to dish the details of her road trip saga. She shared how she was totally thrown for a loop by that unexpected heavy snow in Georgia. It doesn’t often snow in Georgia! But she didn’t let it dampen her spirits; instead, she made a little detour to hang with family in Minnesota until the skies cleared up.

In her post, the sister of Lydia Plath let her Welcome to Plathville fans know that in the whirlwind of packing up and hitting the road, she completely forgot the release date of her new song, “Proud of You.” One can only imagine her feelings when just 15 minutes from her new Montana home, she got a call from her sister Amber, who was jamming out to the song right at that moment. Talk about perfect timing!

“All that to say I made it! And Proud of You is finally out!” Moriah announced on Instagram, highlighting her double-win moment. Her TLC fans, who’ve been rooting for her were all over the post, cheering her on as she steps into this new chapter of her life. Certainly, she seems to be the most adventurous of Kim and Barry Plath’s children.
