Meri Brown teased her Sister Wives fans in February, about moving out of Lizzie’s Heritage Inn. It came with a photo of a mystery man, which sparked a conversation.
But this week, she shared on social media that work began on the ancestral home. The TLC star’s getting it restored, and it needed it, as it looked a bit neglected in recent months.
Restoration Begins
Meri Brown, who recently took a vacation with friends in Cancun, Mexico, shared her photo on her Instagram Stories on March 19. Her picture of Lizzie’s Heritage Inn didn’t show very much, but fans got to see that the stripped interior was undergoing the initial stages of renovation.

“Things are finally happening around here,” she wrote on the photo, adding two hashtags: “#renovations #lLizziesHeritageInn.”
At one stage, about four months ago, fans heard that the inn temporarily closed. For a bit, it was advertised as a wedding venue, but Kody’s former first wife did mention that she intended to fix the place up. Perhaps she might use it to host her new business events for Worthy Up.
No Bookings At This Time
The Sister Wives star amended her website for the inn, and as of March 2025, it says:
While the inn is steeped in history, filled with cherished antiques and stories from the past, we want to share that we are no longer accepting reservations.
TLC fans were also thanked for spending time in the family home. Of course, many of them met Meri’s mom, Bonnie before she passed away unexpectedly in 2021.
Jenn Sullivan Helped With Managing
TLC fans recently saw that Jenn Sullivan scored some screen time on the polygamous show. Shes been a stalwart friend to Meri. Initially, she arrived in Parowan to help manage the place temporarily. But, she became an almost permanent fixture. It’s not clear what Jenn and her husband are doing these days. But hopefully, fans will see more of her on the show.
In Season 19, Jenn was super sarcastic about Kody becoming all emotional when Meri left Flagstaff. It all happened years ago, but the show seems to be very far behind current events. For a few years, the inn gave Meri a home and place to plan her future outside of the Brown family. In retrospect, getting the family home wasn’t just a good idea, but it became a useful haven for the reality TV star as well.
Are you happy that Meri Brown seems likely to keep her lovely family home, Lizzie’s Heritage Inn? Hopefully, she will still use it for events rather than sell her ancestral home in Utah.
