Meghan Markle's Biggest Problem Is Authenticity Says Expert

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are being dragged to high heaven for being what actress Justine Bateman called “disaster tourists.” But that’s not all.

Evidence suggests that Meghan Markle’s Netflix cooking show ‘With Love, Meghan’ was not received with much love. It’s been delayed for now, but if we’re to believe to Bronte Coy, the actress will need to incorporate authenticity if she wants to appeal to a wider audience.

In case you’re not up to speed, ‘With Love, Meghan’ will see the Duchess cook, clean, garden, and entertain her celebrity pals. She will be sharing her years of accumulated wisdom with fans, while she chats with friends and whips up tasty dishes.

Meghan Markle Won’t Win Fans Over By Copying the Kardashians

Meghan Markle needs to approach her fans on a level that’s both personal and relatable. And so far, broadcast journalists Bronte Coy doesn’t think she’s doing that.

When it comes to totally rebranding, Bronte praised the Duchess, 43, for her admirable efforts. “For once it does feel like a new chapter,” she said. The downside to this total rebrand, however, is that the path she’s chosen seems a bit “ironic,” or so Bronte says. “The idea that after all these years and everything that’s happened, to come back to that Hollywood, influencer, Hollywood entertainment reality TV space is ironic.”

Touching on her decade of acting experience prior to meeting Harry, Bronte suggested that perhaps Meghan is hoping to draw from what she’s learned from the trade and from her side-job The Tig to hopefully build a lifestyle brand that may well rival the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and Martha Stewart’s.

However, when the trailer arrived, it “disappointed” fans, including Bronte, because it lacked that touch of “authenticity.”

She continued: “The fact it’s not filmed in their house disappointed me because I think one of their major issues reputationally, Harry and Meghan, particularly Meghan, is authenticity. I mean the Kardashians film in different houses so that’s common place but it’s that idea of authenticity. I think that’s an unfortunate one.”

Apart from her husband, Prince Harry, 11 famous faces will be dropping in at different times during the show’s eight-episodes. At present, the show has been postponed due to the Palisades Fire.
