Meghan Markle Sells Her Clothes Online Amid ‘As Ever’ Product Criticisms

Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand As Ever launched its first ever product offerings to the public. This included raspberry preserve, teas in lemon ginger, peppermint and hibiscus flavors, flower sprinkles and some others.

Apart from being criticized of costing a bit more than other products made by competitors in the market, fans declared that her jams were disgusting and watery.

Amid this brutal takedown of her brand, Meghan is deciding to use her influencer powers to make a little more money on the side.

Meghan Markle landed on Instagram on Jan. 1, 2025, with a simple video of her running by the beach. She’s come so far since then and has already grown her audience to over a million followers.

With these numbers, obviously comes the merching, and Meghan knows how to get her foot through the door.

The Duchess’s fashion style has been a hot topic for so many around the world since the moment she walked down the aisle with Britain’s Prince Harry in 2018, and she continues to be to this day.

Hoping to monetize off of this, Meghan launched a page on her website As Ever where she listed a handpicked collection of clothes.

Amongst them are an eye-watering £1,068 Heidi Merrick’s “Windsor” gown, a £600 pair of Saint Laurent sandals, a £400 necklace and a £148 linen shirt.

Meghan calls the collection “a handpicked and curated collection of the things I love – I hope you enjoy them!” There was also a note to the effect that the products might contain commisionable links. This means that if you buy any of the pieces, Meghan will get paid.

Speaking on this, news commentator Samara Gill said: “The clothes are just another scramble for money. Those aren’t her clothes. She’s just making a small commission off the sales of them.”

She further said on the Sun’s Royal Exclusive, “So it’s just a sort of another ploy at her wanting to become a billionaire and also saving and solving world hunger at the same time.”
