Meghan Markle Says She and Prince Harry Are Back In the Honeymoon Phase of Their Love

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are so in love with each other that it feels like they’re still at the honeymoon phase of their marriage.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE ahead of the release of her Netflix show, ‘With Love, Meghan,’ the Duchess talked about being in her “honeymoon period” again.

“My husband met me when I had The Tig, and I see this spark in his eye when he sees me doing the thing that I was doing when he first met me,” she said

“It’s almost like a honeymoon period again,” she added, “because it’s exactly how it was in the beginning when he’d watch me scribbling away, writing newsletters, fine-tuning edits and just really being in the details of it. I think he loves watching as much as I love doing that creative process. It’s just been fun. This is who I’ve always been.”

For the former actress, making the Netflix show and launching her very own lifestyle brand, As Ever, has brought her to a full circle moment.

Yes, she shut down her blog The Tig to marry Prince Harry and join the ranks of the Royal Family, but since that didn’t work out as expected, she’s happily making a return.

Launched in 2014, The Tig served as Meghan’s personal blog where she shared her passion for food, travel and fitness.

When asked whether she regretted shutting down The Tig and deleting her personal Instagram account at the time, she replied, “Well, I loved The Tig, but I certainly love my husband more. So that was a choice I made at the time, and I wouldn’t change that for a second.”

Meghan became the Duchess of Sussex after tying the knot with Harry and nearly a decade after they met, it’s heartwarming to hear that they’re still riding strong.
