The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Will RJ Forrester Return? Luna’s Pardoning A Great Opportunity

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that fans were excited when it was announced RJ Forrester was coming back to the soap, this time as an adult.

However, both RJ and actor Joshua Hoffman seem to have disappeared without a trace. With Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) being pardoned, this could be a great opportunity for RJ to come out of hiding. Keep reading and let’s discuss the possibilities!

Joshua Hoffman’s Debut

Fans might recall that for years, RJ was barely mentioned. Then, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) son returned home. A social media influencer, RJ soon started working at Forrester Creations and dated Luna. 

Unexpected Heartbreak

Unfortunately, RJ’s heart was broken when he learned the truth about his girlfriend. That was right after John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) saved Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) from Luna’s deadly intentions. 

After Luna’s arrest, RJ was seen a few times. At one point, he was asked how he was coping after the Luna situation. RJ smiled weakly but didn’t seem to be doing too well.

RJ Forrester’s Disappearance

RJ hasn’t been seen since on The Bold and the Beautiful. Fans have wondered why the soap would go to all the trouble of introducing and casting a new character only to have him go MIA. Plus, RJ really should be part of Luna’s freedom storyline. 

Now, sometimes characters and actors leave suddenly. However, fans deserve an explanation. If an exit story can’t be written, then at least have a character mention why RJ isn’t seen anymore.

Even something as simple as RJ went to Paris to run the office over there for a while would have sufficed.

Luna Nozawa’s Pardoning

RJ really should have been part of Luna’s house arrest storyline. Imagine how RJ would react learning that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) of all people was hiding Luna. Now that Luna has been pardoned, she can roam the streets of Los Angeles. 

That also is a good opportunity for RJ to return. Maybe he is alerted by Ridge or Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) about Luna’s pardoning.

RJ could come back and face off with her. Maybe he could save someone else from Luna if she stays bad. If Luna turns good, then maybe she could get another chance at romance with RJ. 

In any case, RJ is needed, not just for Luna’s story but for everything else going on. Steffy could use RJ’s support. Where does he stand on the Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) situation?

Does he even know about the takeover? In any case, let’s hope that RJ returns soon – or least give us an explanation.
