Josh Seiter Death Rumors: Hoax Or Tragedy In Mexico?

Josh Seiter, formerly on The Bachelorette, passed away, according to new reports on social media. Apparently, he was found “unresponsive” in a swimming pool in Mexico. However, the validity of that might be suspicious as the ABC star already faked his death in the past. Read on for more details. 

Rumors of Josh’s Death Emerge

Eight hours ago, a post arrived on Instagram on the Bachelorette contestant’s official account. Previously a similar post was also shared on platform X. The February 18 post on X stated that the former pursuer of Amy Slaton from 1000-Lb Sisters was declared dead by “hospital staff.“

On X, the message which came with no identification of who wrote it, added, “Josh was discovered unresponsive in his hotel room in Mexico early this morning.”

The latest update on Instagram claimed that his “team” had written the message. This time, the edited message read:

On the morning of February 18th Josh was found unresponsive in the pool of his hotel suite in Monterrey, Mexico. Paramedics arrived to discover Josh in cardiac arrest. We are unsure of the cause of this event at this time, and will continue to update the public as we receive new information….The Team

Notably, the new updates didn’t say that Josh passed away. 

Death Notices With Comments Cloised

While the notices came locked for comment, it seems that nobody felt that interested in the news. Often, ABC fans will go to another post and talk about the news there. However, that hasn’t happened so far. Perhaps Bachelor Nation fans are fed up with him because of his previous hoax.

In late July of 2023, a post about the death of Josh Seiter arrived on social media. A day later, he claimed he’d been hacked. Considering the media stories about it, it seemed to take a long time for the truth to emerge. So, skepticism isn’t unexpected. Additionally, many people believe the former reality TV star trolls them over his gender preferences. 

Trans Or Not Trans?

After chasing many female TLC stars, including Tiffany Franco, Josh Seiter declared himself as “trans.” For about five months, he acted his role and loved putting on makeup and dresses. That, at least, seemed kind of believable as he’d previously identified as gay. However, he later recanted his story. 

In October 2024, the Express Tribune cited the Bachelorette alum as confessing on “BlazeTV’s ‘Prime Time with Alex Stein’ that his five-month journey was a ruse to highlight the left’s alleged delusions.”

A decade ago, Seiter appeared on Season 11 of The Bachelorette with Kaitlyn Bristowe who sent him him home in the first week.
