Is GH Josh Kelly’s Down And Out Cody Bell Leaving Port Charles?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that fans of the ABC soap are worried about the longevity of Josh Kelly’s character Cody Bell.

After a dynamite entrance and plenty of sizzling story the character seems to have hit a dead end after finding out his girlfriend is his cousin. That would be a bummer. Here’s what to know about the character’s future!

Cody Bell and Sasha Gilmore Are Over

Online rumors about a possible Kelly exit ramped up this month after he appeared in the February 10 episode of NCIS: Origins.

While it’s not odd for soap stars to moonlight, fans were worried that this appearance could be a signal of Kelly’s departure.

There is no evidence that Kelly will be leaving daytime for nighttime, which is a relief for longtime GH fans.

Kelly’s role on NCIS: Origins was as a guest star. His appearance did not demand a full-time commitment according to Yahoo! and so we predict that the show will not interfere in his GH career.

Josh Kelly Is Cody Bell on General Hospital

Additionally the soap has not given any indication that Cody is going anywhere. If anything, he is mired in his failed relationship with Sasha and has endured plenty of personal woes recently. All brought on by himself of course.

First, he chose to play in Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) poker games again, and secondly he announced to PC that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is Sasha’s baby daddy. He’s not, Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) is.

Fans themselves are adamant that Cody stay on the show with one poster writing “I hope Cody continues on GH and that they find someone he can be happy with and have a better part. I have seen him on some other shows and he is a good actor no matter what his role is” and another noting “I hope they give him a better story. They keep flipping who they want him to be. I like him and he deserves a good story line.”
