Glenn Thore Gets ‘MBFFL’ Fans Reminiscing

Glenn Thore, Whitney Way Thore’s dad on My Big Fat Fabulous Life, (MBFFL) got many TLC fans reminiscing about their favorite scenes of him. It came when his daughter shared a celebration for a special event.

Whitney’s Dad Is Very Popular 

With rumors of a secret son in Asia carried by someone named Keiko, and the discovery of Angie Burdett, his secret daughter by Jackie, many TLC fans think Glenn must have been Mr. Hot Pants in his youth. Apart from that, he loved his wife Babs who passed away, and fans felt sad because they like him a lot. 

Glenn Thore might actually be more popular with MBFFL fans than Whitney Way Thore. When he talked about moving to Alabama to help Angie track down her adopted daughter, many TLC fans thought it would do him good to get away from his sometimes controlling daughter. 

A Special Day For Glenn

As they like the dad of Hunter and Whitney a lot, when his daughter shared about a special event on Instagram this week, plenty of people responded. The My Big Fat Fabulous Life star posted several photos of her dad, and they were definitely in party mode. 

In her caption, Whitney told her TLC followers that it was Glenn Thore’s birthday. She wrote:

Dad turned 79 yesterday — the Glennaissance continues! (Yes, those are photobooth pics of Hunter and Karen in both of his breast pockets.) 🎉 Drop your fav Glenn memory!

Remembering Favorite Scenes

Many My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans remembered their favorite scenes of Glenn Thore. Of course, others wished him a happy birthday. Here are some of their contributions to the discussion:

• Yay for Glenn! It has to be the Jazzercise video. You are such a good sport!
• Glenn in season one leading your dog’s funeral. 😍 He was so serious and sincere. Your dad is perfection!

Probably the only time that Glenn picked up heat from TLC fans came when he allowed the funeral of Babs to air. Many people accused the family of trying to profit from her death. Apart from that, very little criticism ever went his way.
