GH Spoilers: Will Brennan Do The Right Thing And Bring In Cyrus?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) already knows that was Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) on the Rice Plaza film he obtained.

It showed him plainly walking up behind Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and stabbing him-but will Brennan do the right thing and bring him in?

General Hospital Spoilers – Jack Brennan’s Motivations Seem To Be Tied To Carly

All of Brennan’s motivations seem to be tied to his attraction to Carly Spencer, (Laura Wright) who seems to trust him in spite of Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) repeated warnings.

Jason has told Carly repeatedly not to trust Brennan, knowing some things from his time investigating Pikeman for the FBI, of which Brennan was the Pikeman head.

Brennan was the corrupt head of the WSB and the Pikeman organization at the same time, and yet of all the mobsters whose lives were in danger, Cyrus was excluded!

Cyrus was in prison during part of the same time period Jack was WSB and Pikeman chief, but not all.

He’d been running the gang that included the late Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) cousin Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey).

GH Spoilers – What Other Evidence Does Jack Brennan Need?

So far, Brennan has said nothing to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about the evidence uncovered-but then perhaps since Cyrus is not sought in a WSB case, he’s keeping mum.

He did use WSB resources to get the video of Rice Plaza during the day in question-and yet, he likely thinks solving the murder of Carly’s daughter’s boyfriend might impress her.

Since this is a Port Charles Police Officer who was killed, that makes it a PCPD case and in Anna’s jurisdiction-so why isn’t he sharing the intel?

And it’s not the first time he lied about something important Anna needed to know-like Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) location for instance! Anna caught him in the act on that and tased him for his lies back a couple of weeks ago.

General Hospital Spoilers – What Is JackBrennan’s Motivation, What’s He Trying To Hide?

It certainly does seem as though Brennan’s got some secret agenda that he’s trying to hide-at least, from Anna and the PCPD. Could Cyrus somehow have some kind of leverage he’s using to keep himself from being arrested?

Brennan having this kind of proof against Cyrus in the case of Dex’s murder and withholding it doesn’t make any sense.

And now he’s leaving breadcrumbs for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to follow, to solve her boyfriend’s murder? If Brennan is so interested in Carly, why would he put her daughter in potential danger?
