GH Spoilers: Who Is The Target, Michael Or Sonny-Did Brennan Send A Drone Strike To Finish Off Sonny?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) may be connected to the explosion and fire that trapped Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) in his father’s penthouse.

Viewers may remember that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was targeted at the Metro Court Pool area when Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was hit-was Brennan attempting to finish the hit job?

General Hospital Spoilers – Bomb Or Drone Strike, Or Maybe Both?

The fire that Michael was trapped in that caused his severe injuries appeared to come everywhere at once-first, there was an explosion inside that blew out the patio doors.

But there was fire on the roof too-and how would anyone have gotten inside of Sonny’s penthouse to set bombs there, or for that matter, planted anything on Michael?

There appeared to be some roof damage that was happening as well, as witnessed by the beam falling from the ceiling as Sonny and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) arrived.

It’s the roof and the ceiling that one needs to focus on when considering this fire-the patio doors blowing open could have been caused by what fireman call a backdraft.

But, the only problem with that theory is a backdraft fire has little or no flame, only smoke and force-the fire uses up all the oxygen and creates the explosion.

GH Spoilers – It Is Odd None Of Sonny Corinthos’s Security Men Were Around And No Sprinkler System Went Off

It does seem odd that none of Sonny’s security men were around and no sprinkler system went off; if it had, it would have saved Michael from being burned.

Now we have to look at with no security guards in sight, why weren’t they, and if someone could have sabotaged the sprinkler system.

Sonny may have been better off continuing to be paranoid and trusting no one, but it sounds like a sophisticated well-planned operation-however, Michael would have noticed something amiss!

Christmas and New Year’s had passed, so the guards couldn’t have been on holiday-was the penthouse struck and attacked the minute he entered-possibly with a drone or drones?

It wouldn’t be like Sonny to let his security just slide, active mob business and wars going on or not, something’s really fishy with this fire!

General Hospital Spoilers – Jack Brennan Was Behind The Attack On The Metro Court

Brennan was still concurrently the head of Pikeman and the head of the WSB when the shooting at the Metro Court happened, and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) was there too.

Anna doesn’t trust Brennan and she’s known him for years, as long as she’s known Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). She and Sonny discussed which one of them was being shot at-especially after a stolen WSB sniper rifle was found in a suite.

Could the real cause of the fire be Jack Brennan, attempting to finish off Sonny like was originally intended, disabling the security and sprinkler systems too?

Might the explosion and fire at Sonny’s penthouse been caused by a bomb wielding drone or drones, plus someone sneaking in, kidnapping guards and planting bombs?
