General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, January 29, 2025, tease surprises, scams, and stranglings!

Sasha Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) surprised at Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) question, Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) suspects a scam, and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) strangles Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure)!

General Hospital Spoilers: Surprises

After Sasha’s surprising announcement of her pregnancy at the Quartermaine mansion, more surprises are in store for Sasha.

She’s definitely surprised-and perhaps a bit disturbed-that Jason deduced Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is the baby daddy!

Jason and Sasha are outside in the dark as Jason asks her if Michael also knows that he’s the father!

For sure, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) thinks for sure now that Sasha’s pregnant by her cousin Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and said so, to which she said it’s none of her business.

Just that little news flash no doubt gave Jason all the clues he needed to deduce that Sasha’s baby is Michael’s!

GH Spoilers: Scams

Elsewhere, Gio confronts Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) who’s obviously got something suspicious going on.

She looks shocked when Gio eyeballs her in the eye and asks if she’s sure this isn’t just a scam to get extra cash!

Emma is so sneaky one would wonder if she’s really a Scorpio or a Drake, and if she’s really a Cassadine or a Faison! Emma is definitely shocked that Gio apparently figured out her plans and her with them.

General Hospital Spoilers: Lulu Catches Up With Anna

Elsewhere, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) catches up with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and it sounds like she’s talking about Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

She tells Anna “whenever he’s around bad things happen,” and that’s exactly why she knew she had to escape Turning Woods when she awakened from her coma.

Anna is questioning people about the digitalis case in relation to Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) and others’ deaths.

Of course, it’s going to be more difficult now since Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) came on like gangbusters at the PCPD, upset because Anna didn’t arrest him when he was being questioned!

But anything Lulu can tell Anna about what she may have overheard him say when she played comatose may be a clue!

GH Spoilers: Cody Is Blindsided

Cody is blindsided as he asks what Tracy’s excuse this time-there’s a pretty good chance he’s blindsided over Sasha admitting her pregnancy and Tracy faulting him!

He and Sasha never got to the point of having sex before Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) dropped the truth bomb that they are first cousins.

At least, not that was ever shown onscreen, although they came close-they were always interrupted.

The news of Sasha’s pregnancy in itself, even if Tracy hadn’t blamed him, would be a shock-although he can probably understand how it may have happened.

He got drunk that night too, only he started tangling with Drew Quartermaine, (Cameron Mathison) not tangling with someone in bedsheets!

General Hospital Spoilers: Tracy Goes Off At Martin Grey

Elsewhere, Tracy goes off at Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) according to GH spoilers, and shouts that he should be thanking her!

Martin has been a frequent, if not totally willing , visitor to the Quartermaine estate as of late, since he was hired in relation to the custody case.

The fight should have stayed between Michael and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and were Michael not burned, perhaps it would have.

But Drew, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Tracy got in the middle almost immediately, even though Tracy is fighting on Michael’s behalf, though not officially. She’s a great-aunt at best, and really shouldn’t have a horse in the race at all!

GH Spoilers: Just What She Needs

In the meantime, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)  is still in Baden-Baden and on the phone, telling someone something is exactly what she needs.

She’s smiling and perhaps Michael’s doctor there gave her an update, since Willow’s health care proxy might not apply overseas.

It could be some good news from home as well, but she definitely looks a lot more relaxed and happy. She had a conversation with Jack about the spa, perhaps it’s a spa related gift she’s thanking for?

General Hospital Spoilers: Stranglings!

In the meantime, Dark Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has tracked down his old frenemy and as he’s strangling him in the spa, hisses “That was for Prague!”

He’s definitely blaming Brennan for the attack on himself with Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez).  Of course, Valentin has no idea that Colette Moreau (Mercedes Lopez Renard) Brennan’s assistant went rogue!

Thursday’s GH has Brennan and Carly getting closer, so either Brennan’s able to choke out the name “Colette”  and Valentin stops, or maybe Carly interrupts.

Either way, Brennan lives to spy another day and Valentin’s likely back on the run!
