GH Spoilers Tuesday, January 21: Nervous Worries, Wisdom Filled Warnings, Mother’s Unending Love

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Tuesday, January 21 tease nervous worries, wary warnings, and a mother’s love.

Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) worries, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) gives a wisdom filled  warning and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) a mother’s unending love to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).

General Hospital Spoilers:  Nervous Worries

Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) agreed to allow Carly and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to visit Michael in the burn unit at GH, keeping them informed about his condition.

Together with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), she considered the option of transferring Michael to the prestigious burn unit at Johns Hopkins, while Carly suggested a specialized clinic in Germany.

In the end, Willow concluded that the decision should rest with Michael, even though waking him from anesthesia would cause him considerable pain—it was ultimately his choice to make.

As Carly talks to Michael in his room, Willow finds herself in the hospital chapel alongside Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison).

A wave of anxiety washes over her as she worries that her actions might have jeopardized her chances of regaining custody of Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko).

GH Spoilers: Arguing Granny

Drew took a firm approach in Friday’s episode, having Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) apprehended at the Quartermaine estate, with Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) standing by his side.

In an interrogation area, she engages in a heated debate, likely with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), while Martin observes, Tracy exclaiming, “When will you understand you’re backing the wrong horse?”

It appears she’s in a waiting room rather than the standard interrogation space for suspects, although she had been  handcuffed.

Nevertheless, her distress is evident as she attempts to exert her influence over the PCPD, possibly leveraging financial resources.

Tracy overstepped by speaking on behalf of Michael’s children, yet she was at the mansion asserting they were with Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson), despite the likelihood that they were not.

General Hospital Spoilers: Suspect Questioned

Anna has zeroed in on another potential suspect for interrogation, unless her attention is directed towards Martin or Tracy. This new figure is clad in black, mirroring Tracy’s attire!

She probes whether this person is the one who planted that device in Sonny’s residence, triggering the explosion that engulfed Michael in flames; this accusation is sure to ignite Tracy’s anger.

Yet, Anna remains unfazed by Tracy’s lineage as a Quartermaine or her lofty status—she’s not even swayed by the queen of England! If the law has been broken, guilt is undeniable—especially when it involves hiding children.

GH Spoilers: Wisdom Filled Warnings

In the heart of the Deception Office, Maxie delivers wisdom filled warnings  to Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue), who reveals signs of distress.

By this point, she must have learned about the catastrophic explosion that destroyed Sonny’s warehouse, critically injuring his son in the process.

Sonny’s infamous standing and his entanglement in dubious dealings frequently draw danger, proving that this event is a stark illustration of the risks involved.

Maxie warns Natalia about the perils of getting too involved with someone like Sonny. The romantic tension that has simmered between Sonny and Natalia has been anything but simple.

General Hospital Spoilers: Ava’s Argument, Sonny’s Pain

Ava Jerome (Maura West) has successfully tracked down Sonny, who is currently living  in a different location; during their intense confrontation, she passionately implores him to put their daughter’s safety first.

Ava emphasizes the urgency of taking action for Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) before it’s too late, her worry for the child’s well-being palpable.

She reflects on the potential disaster that could have unfolded had she been at Sonny’s penthouse during the bombing, highlighting the grave risks involved.

As the confrontation escalates, it becomes evident that the stress is affecting Sonny; he starts to feel sharp pains in his chest.

Although he has nitroglycerin pills on hand, likely prescribed by Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson), what he truly requires is a surgical intervention—possibly a pacemaker.

GH Spoilers: A Mother’s Unending Love

Michael was clearly battling the agony of his burns, making it all the more challenging to confront the choice Carly laid before him.

The idea of heading to a burn clinic in Germany, where he might reclaim his former self, will loom large  in his mind. Although the preview clip leaves his reaction ambiguous, spoilers hint that Carly shows appreciation to Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) for his help.

What Michael doesn’t realize is that Brennan had orchestrated his admission to the German clinic, which now features some of the doctors from the Boronsky Clinic.

Carly comforts Michael by saying, “then that’s what we’re going to do,” suggesting that he may have ultimately consented to the trip to Germany.
