General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Tuesday, January 14 tease desperate requests, protective uncles and worried mothers.

Coming Up On General Hospital

Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) makes a desperate request, Lucky Spencer’s (Jonathan Jackson) being a protective uncle, and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is a worried mother.

General Hospital Spoilers: Desperate Requests

Lulu goes for help to Tracy Quartermaine, (Jane Elliot) with a desperate request-she’s desperate to retrieve Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) but she’s also desperate for money to do it.

She tells Tracy she can find Charlotte again, she just needs her money to do it-will Tracy be willing to fund Lulu’s reconnaissance mission?

The last time she found Charlotte a sniper followed-although when she told her mother Laura Collins (Genie Francis) she was supportive.

Laura, knowing how stubborn her daughter is and how much she’s like her father Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) told her to be more careful looking for Charlotte.

Will Tracy be just as supportive and fund the trip, or tell her to leave it to the professionals?

GH Spoilers: Nina Blasts Drew

Elsewhere, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) blasts Drew Quartermaine, (Cameron Mathison) telling him “that position has been filled”!

Was Nina able to cancel Drew’s political win, or is she referring to something else entirely? One could see by the look on her face that she didn’t like Drew’s obvious manipulation of her daughter, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) at GH.

Willow flew into his arms and clung to him, seeming quite emotionally dependent and with a case of hero worship.

Will Nina be able to stop what she’s seeing, especially since he’s been sleeping with her part of the time he’s been sleeping with Willow?

General Hospital Spoilers: Fearful Questions

Elsewhere, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) is obviously fearful when he asks his tearful mother if “Daddy’s coming home, right?”

Wiley isn’t talking about Drew, he’s talking about Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Michael isn’t out of the woods yet, although he got a last-minute save from death due to digitalis-he was on the verge of a heart attack. Willow whispers “yes” to her son’s hopeful questions.

But it’s obvious she is having her doubts-especially considering the whole marriage is in question. Wiley doesn’t even know his parents are legally separated.

GH Spoilers: Protective Uncles

At the hospital, Lucky’s being a protective uncle as he asks Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) why she’s asking about Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

She’s asking because number one, she wants to solve the murder of her late boyfriend Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).

Number two, she was asked by WSB local office chief Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) to follow up on a trail of breadcrumbs he’d supplied.

Lucky will share some new intel he’s received, is he trusting his niece to be able to take care of herself and give the intel to her?

Or is what she tells him the new intel he shares-he no doubt might tell Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) she’s off the suspect list finding out what happened to Michael!

General Hospital Spoilers: Dante And Sonny Talk

Elsewhere, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) talk about what happened to Michael, and Dante obviously having found out about the explosion that put him in the burn unit.

Sonny’s full of anger and wants revenge on whoever was responsible for blowing up his penthouse with Michael in it at the time.

But Dante has to walk a fine line between law enforcement and being the son of a mobster!

Dante encourages Sonny not to turn getting justice for Michael into a war, with Sonny’s enemies being suspected of the crime. It’s best to let the PCPD handle it, although it seems the WSB has gotten involved as well.

GH Spoilers: Worried Mothers

Elsewhere, Carly breaks down and cries on Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) shoulder, through whispered tears asking, “How are we going to get through this?”

They know Michael came dangerously close to cardiac arrest, but they don’t know it was because of the digitalis. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) came out and told Carly and Sonny that he almost had a heart attack, but that now he was stable.

All the drama in Michael’s hospital room had taken place as Carly and Sonny were in a standoff with Nina, Willow and Drew in another area.

Michael still isn’t totally out of the woods, and Lucas told his sister and former brother in law that too, and Carly likely relays all of that to Jason.
