GH Spoilers Tuesday, February 18: Romantic Gestures, Insecure Mothers, Taking Chances

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, February 18 tease romantic gestures, insecure mothers and taking chances.

Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) makes a romantic gesture, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) is an insecure mother and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) asks someone to take a chance on her.

Romantic Gestures

At home, Chase is in the shower as he makes a romantic gesture to Brook Lynn Chase (Amanda Setton), shouting, “there’s room for two in here!”

Does his wife hear him through the sound of the shower, is she home at the time? Regardless of his inability to father their child, at least he hasn’t lost his drive or his desire-that should count for something.

It’s plain Chase is feeling a little bit better after being so discouraged after their fertility tests and having to give such horrible news to his wife.

It made him pretty depressed as well-but so  far, they haven’t looked into sperm donors or surrogates, let alone adoption.

Sneaky Situations At The Savoy

In the meanwhile, sneaky situations are taking place at the Savoy-Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) sneaks up behind Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) with a question.

She asks him, “does your wife maybe get a hint”? He’s holding a big Valentine’s Day bash at the club and he’s hosting it, but either he’s hiding a surprise or Portia’s got a bad case of curiosity.

Soon, the big reveal will take place and she’ll know what’s happening next. It appears to be the biggest bash since before his dad, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) went on tour with Wynton Marsalis.

True Confessions

Also at the club for the big Valentine’s Day bash are Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) on their first real date.

Trina, as requested, is dressed to the nines and tells Kai that she has a confession to make.

Perhaps her confession is that she’d misjudged him at first, and now that she sees more what he’s like, she likes what she sees.

The two will spend all Valentine’s Day together, the first date Trina’s been on since losing Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) a little over a year ago.

It looks like she’s finally moving past her grief, although undoubtedly she’ll never forget her first true love.

Valentine’s Surprises

Also at the Savoy are Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) and Brad Cooper, (Parry Shen) and Brad looks in disbelief at Lucas’ question.

The two ex-husbands are beginning to be friendly, and Brad is blindsided as Lucas says he was wondering if he wanted some company!

How can Brad say no to such a Valentine Day’s surprise, even if he knows it’s far from a reconciliation?

Whatever it is, it’s certainly a start and a sign that their past is being healed and Lucas doesn’t hate him. Brad can’t pass up the chance to say yes, even if it is “just friends!”

Insecure Mothers

Elsewhere, Lulu and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) are talking, it appears to be somewhere in the Quartermaine mansion.

Lulu is quite discouraged as she tells a confused-looking Dante that she’s failing as a mother.

Dante will no doubt reassure her that she’s no such thing, and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) would certainly back him up.

Lulu is still sad that Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) chose to be with her father Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) on the run.

Lulu wasn’t able to convince her to come back to Port Charles, but at least she’s stopped blaming Dante who showed up at the café in Prague where they were ambushed.

Secret Knowledge

It looks like Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) are in Carly’s kitchen as she flirtatiously tells him she likes knowing something about him that nobody else does! 

Pray tell, just what might that be-has more happened between them than in the hotel-spa in Baden-Baden by now?

He smiles at her over her liking knowing his secrets-at least the ones he’s allowed her to know.

But is she sure that she can trust him, is the Brennan she’s seeing the whole Brennan or just a side he’s showing her?

After all, spies are in the business of staying secretive and sometimes that includes secret lives!

Taking Chances

In the meantime at the PCPD, Anna talks to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) who’s still being held in an interrogation room.

She implores him to take a chance on her, implying that he should trust her-she knows what she’s doing.

She wants him to trust him that she can protect Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and bring Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) in legally to justice.

Jason listens and takes in what she’s telling him, but will she continue to hold him there? He no doubt wants her to trust him as well, to take a chance on him!
