‘GH’ Spoilers Tuesday, April 1: Surprise Gifts, Unraveled Mysteries, Vote Of Confidence

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, April 1  tease surprise gifts, unraveled mysteries, and a vote of confidence! Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) packs up a surprise gift, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) thinks a mystery will unravel, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) gives a vote of confidence.

Surprise Gifts

At the hospital, General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday’s show indicate Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) are with Maxie as she appears to be getting a surprise gift packed. Maxie happily tells the two she thinks she can make that happen, as she reveals a huge gift bag with different colors of bright gift paper wadded up in the top. Chances are, they’re getting it gathered for head Nurse Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) who is now a patient with a broken leg after the serious car wreck she was in.

It really was bad timing for that wreck to happen the evening before the grand celebration of the opening of the new cardiac wing. But the good thing is that Elizabeth will be okay, unlike what happened to her predecessor, the late Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) who died assisting at a car wreck.

Unraveled Mysteries

Across the hall, Curtis is talking to Laura Collins, (Genie Francis) on a bench at the hospital. It’s obvious they’re discussing some kind of donation, and there seems to be a mystery donor. Curtis tells Laura it sounds like this mystery donor isn’t much of a mystery to her!  Chances are, the donation has come from someone who Laura told previously they didn’t need or want his donation, let alone the Esplanade to take over the waterfront. At this point, Laura wants nothing from either Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) or Drew Quartermaine, now back to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) except goodbyes to Port Charles!

Four Words

General Hospital spoilers imply that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) has chosen to drop in on Jenz at Wyndemere, as she excitedly tells him she has four words that will blow his mind! In her hand are some papers, and it appears that perhaps she’s pulled off some kind of real estate deal for him. After all, she is a real estate agent in addition to her work with Deception Cosmetics, so that makes sense!

Perhaps Lucy is involved in the large donation from the mystery donor that Curtis and Laura were talking about. She’s heavily involved with the hospital as well, having been the inventor (and host) of the Nurses’ Ball.

Vote Of Confidence

Elsewhere, General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, April 1 reveal that Sonny will have a chat with his ex-wife Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). He gives her his vote of confidence, as he tells her “I would never bet against Carly Spencer”! He may be getting her up to speed about the search for the person who was behind the bombing of his penthouse, where Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was injured so badly.

Carly, on the other hand is grateful to be alive after the polonium dose she ingested. The subject of her survival may be what Sonny’s vote of confidence is all about!

The Hospital Is Sixty-Two

The hospital (and the soap opera) are both sixty-two years old in this episode, and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) says during the Tuesday preview that, GH looks pretty good for her age! The hospital, Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) and the ABC soap itself will be commemorated in this episode. Considering the sixty-two years of everything from epidemics to sabotage the hospital and its staff, along with the residents of Port Charles have endured, Anna’s right!

Although Monica is being spoken of quite often in offscreen mentions lately, the celebration episode was written before the real life passing of Leslie Charleson. Monica’s offscreen death and the memorial tribute to her and the character she played for so many years will be coming up later.
