General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate fans are over the moon that Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) took a gamble and followed his gut.
The good news is, that he was able to save Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) after he had been injected with digitalis thanks to the doctor injecting an antidote.
Even better, Nurse Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) has essentially been cleared of any foul play, but who knows how long it will take for anyone to fill her in on this.
Still, in the aftermath of Michael being saved, Isaiah paid a visit to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) to let her know a “killer” was on the loose in the hospital.
As fans know Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is the person behind these injections and deaths, so is he living on borrowed time?
General Hospital Spoilers – Portia Robinson’s Own Investigation
GH spoilers note that prior to getting approached by Isaiah, Portia asked Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) to conduct an internal review of patient records to address this digitalis mystery, head on.
With that said, as Isaiah believes that they need to turn to the PCPD to launch a police investigation, will Portia agree to do this right away, or possibly wait to see what Brad’s investigation finds?
After having to watch other patients pass away, there’s no way that Isaiah will let this go, or Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) for that matter.
His sister, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) passed away mysteriously from a digitalis overdose, and his nephew Michael was another victim, not to mention the fact that his niece’s, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), boyfriend, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) was a patient of his who also passed away from someone who injected digitalis into his IV bag. So, what happens next?
GH Spoilers – Is Cyrus Renault On His Way Out?
GH spoilers remind fans that with Michael’s digitalis injection, everyone will be on high alert at the hospital.
To boot, Portia already banned Cyrus from volunteering, so he needs to be very careful about coming in and out of the hospital.
But will he? Cyrus seems blindly driven to continue this digitalis run and it’s still uncertain as to why he’s attacking patients in this way. How many others have there been, and how many more will land on his hit list?
That’s hard to say; however, with February sweeps mere weeks away, there’s a good chance that Cyrus’ digitalis days are number.
