GH Spoilers: Snoop Dogg Set To Shake Things Up In Port Charles?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Snoop Dogg could be set to shake things up in Port Charles at some point in the future.

While on the Jennifer Hudson  show with several other stars from GH, Donnell Turner (Curtis Ashford) told Hudson he met Snoop and that he wants to appear on the soap.

The Doggfather Of Cool Wants To Appear On The ABC Soap

Many notable actors, such as John Stamos (Blackie Parrish) and Demi Moore (Jackie Templeton I), have soared to new heights of fame after their time on the show.

Janine Turner, who played Jackie I’s sister Laura Templeton also found primetime fame, and in music, Rick Springfield (Noah Drake) and Ricky Martin (Miguel Morez)

However, the soap has also attracted a plethora of high-profile celebrities eager to make guest appearances over the years, such as  the likes of James Franco and the iconic Elizabeth Taylor.

 Recently, some cast members graced The Jennifer Hudson Show, where Donnell Turner revealed that one particular celebrity is keen on joining the cast for a guest star role in this legendary series.

That’s Snoop Dogg, the Doggfather of Cool, and he’s appeared on an ABC soap opera before as well.

Snoop Dogg Knows Frank Valentini

Donnell shared, “Snoop is just as cool as you’d expect-he knows my boss and said, ‘Frank Valentini-oh man, I love Frank, make sure to tell him, ‘What’s up?’” In response, Turner encouraged Snoop to deliver the message himself, inviting the rapper to “Come on over here and join us.” Co-star Laura Wright (Carly) chimed in, “That would be incredible.”

Turner elaborated, “I discussed it with Frank, and we made some attempts, but then Snoop got tied up, so let’s keep our hopes up.” Finola Hughes (Anna) added that having Snoop Dogg on the show “Would be such a blast.”

Notably, Snoop previously appeared in the 2013 reboot of One Life to Live and wrote  a new theme song for the series titled Brand New Start.

We Can See Snoop Dogg Doing His Thing At “The Savoy”

Even though now in the storyline, Curtis is a CEO of Aurora Media, he still owns The Savoy and it’s still a hopping place; it’s sure he has someone running it.

Just because his father, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) went on tour with Wynton Marsalis doesn’t mean he sold his nightclub because he wasn’t available to run it in Curtis’ place.

Snoop making one or more appearances at The Savoy would be the perfect showcase for his talents and would be a big draw to Curtis’ club.

Even though more than likely Snoop’s appearances would be guest appearances, he said he’d like to appear on the soap.

So that doesn’t rule out Snoop being a manager and nightly club talent at Curtis’ popular club-we can dream, can’t we?
