‘GH’ Spoilers: Sidwell & Alexis’s Link – Heading Toward A Romance Or Family Connection?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) have been in each other’s orbits quite a bit as of late.

The fact that he summoned her to Wyndemere last week feels as if he could be setting her up for something; however, will these two ultimately dabble in a romance together?

Alexis Loves Her “Bad Boys”

From Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Julian Jerome (William DeVry) Alexis loves her bad boys, so could Sidwell be the next “villain” she engages in? At the end of the day, Alexis could use a romantic interest.

While Sidwell seems to have a thing for his ex-wife, Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue), and a flirtation with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), Alexis could be a woman whom he’s met his match.

Why A Romance Might Not Work

It’s clear that Sidwell summoned Alexis to Spoon Island to get her fingerprints on that dagger, but what is he up to, and why her fingerprints?

There’s been some buzz from General Hospital fans that Sidwell could be an unknown Cassadine or possibly related to Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers), which may not make a romance between the two possible.

After all, perhaps the reason why Sidwell has come to Port Charles could be to establish roots within his family heritage or potentially a plan to strike back at all of Helena’s haters as an act of vengeance.

Whether it’s because of family roots or revenge, Alexis is one of the only adult Cassadines in the little town at his point; other than her daughters, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) who are so far removed from the Cassadines, it’s hard to remember their connection with them. So, what is Sidwell’s fascination with Alexis?
