GH Spoilers: Sasha And Jason’s Common Ground Sets The Tone For Him To Become Her Confidante

General Hospital spoilers claim Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) threw out an interesting throwback recently in conversation with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

Thanking him again for saving her life when Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) absconded with her, Sasha felt more than comfortable opening up to Jason about how she’s navigating her relationship with her newfound father and less-than-trustworthy mother.

These two honestly seemed like old friends, and Sasha was comfortable enough to mention Jason’s past as a Quartermaine — unafraid to offend him or push him out of his comfort zone.

Does this speak to an impending friendship between these two that might serve as a solid foundation for Sasha to share even more with Jason — like her pregnancy and who the baby’s father is?

Let’s not get it twisted though. No one is implying any kind of romantic interlude is on the horizon for Sasha and Jason. Just the opposite.

They’re far too different and it would never be Jason’s style to go after a woman who was recently involved with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). That being said, Jason still cares for Michael like he is his son and he’ll want to do right by him.

Michael’s life is hanging in the balance and since he wanted to speak with Sasha before being sedated again, everyone was left wondering what could’ve been so important that she was at the top of his mind at a time like this.

Might Jason put two and two together and realize that the only thing that would have been on Michael’s mind at that time were his children?

Knowing Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) and Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) would be well cared for, perhaps he wanted to make sure Sasha’s baby was too?

Sasha is only growing more aware of how cutthroat and brutal the Quartermaines can be to each other. Michael and Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) divorce got underway faster than Sasha could even process that they’d split up.

Affairs within the family may have complicated matters, but she is certain that the family makes it worse than it needs to be, too. Felicia Scorpio’s (Kristina Wagner) warning not to get dragged into their family drama was well-received.

Sasha’s level-headed personality is likely to seek out a similar ally inside the Q homestead — and that person would be Jason. Will Sasha end up confiding in Jason about her pregnancy — and matters of paternity?
