General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Monday, January 13 tease investment advice, wise warnings and big gambles!

Coming Up On General Hospital

Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott) gives investment advice, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) wise warnings, and Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) takes a big gamble!

General Hospital Spoilers: Investment Advice

Tracy talks to Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) about some money he’s apparently coming into, and her advice is if he invests it, it will be gone!

More than likely the money is from the payoff money Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) gave him to keep his mouth shut about what he knew.

This is what he drunkenly broadcast to the group at the bar the night he and Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) broke up, that Drew was sleeping with both mother and  daughter!

Tracy may or may not know anything about where the money came from, she may assume his investment gamble may not pay off. On the other hand, is the money in cash or in Cody’s bank, or did Drew write a check-Drew might stop payment!

GH Spoilers: Mother And Daughter Catch Up

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) catches up with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) after Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) retrieved her from Prague, Czechoslovakia.

She tells a doubtful looking Lulu that Dante did the right thing by going after her, even though they weren’t able to retrieve Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez).  

With Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) on the run and an apparent assassin after him, she could meet with foul play herself!

Not to mention Valentin is an expert about being on the run in a foreign country and he has resources-he’d never let harm come to Charlotte if he could help it.

General Hospital Spoilers: Wise Warnings

At GH, there’s a standoff between Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly) and Nina Reeves, (Cynthia Watros) Drew, and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).

This is after Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko) were taken by social services. 

Willow was finally convinced by Drew to use her healthcare proxy over Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) as a bargaining chip to get her children back.

Carly warns her, as Drew can be seen looking pensive in the background, that she doesn’t want to go down this road! Little do any of them know that Michael’s IV was just injected with digitalis by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober)!

GH Spoilers: Nina And Sonny Make A Compromise

Elsewhere down the hall, Nina and Sonny are talking privately as she tells him not to waste precious time on this fight!

They will reach some kind of compromise, it will be over what is best for their mutual grandchildren, to be sure.

Nina hopes she still has some sway with Sonny, considering how their marriage broke up-she might play the “they could be in danger from Sonny’s enemies” card. Which could be true-even Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) tried to convince Sonny it was time to leave the mob, and for real this time!

General Hospital Spoilers: Big Gambles!

In the meantime, Isaiah is in Michael’s hospital room trying to save his life-it could be Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) with a mask on he’s talking too.

Lucas begged out of treating Michael because he’s his nephew, but that doesn’t mean he’s not on board to try and save his life! It sounds like they are discussing going on the assumption Michael’s been dosed with digitalis, and treating him appropriately for that.

But on the other hand, Michael did have a genetic heart defect as a baby that he had to have surgery for-plus, other things can cause heart attacks. Isaiah worries to the other doctor “what if we get it wrong, Michael will die either way!”
