GH Spoilers: Maurice Benard Offers Important Update For Fans

General Hospital’s Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) has offered fans a very important update via his podcast, State Of Mind.

On the latest episode of State of Mind, Maurice welcomed Carlo Rota (Jenz Sidwell), one of his GH co-stars. However, Benard first address how he was “tired of hearing about my black, dyed hair.”

Maurice Benard’s Hair Is A Major Topic Of Discussion

Fans are often making comments on Benard’s hair. Of course, Sonny’s hair can be black one minute and his distinguished black and gray the next.

Benard admits, “I want it gray. The powers that be want it black. “So, there’s not a whole lot I can say…you try to pick your battles, and my hair being black is not one of them.”

Rota is then introduced and says, “I’m very happy to be in the company of your extraordinary, luscious, dark hair.”

Benard says he would shave his head if he could. Rota commented, “The idea of having a problem because you want gray, they want black… listen, I wake up with a problem every day. I don’t have a choice.” Rota admits that he is “Up and out” without hair.

Fans Would Not Be Happy

General Hospital’s Benard might be happy to save his head but Sonny fans would certainly object. Fans love the dimpled don just the way he is and would not entertain the idea of Sonny shaving his hair for anyone.

Fans love Sonny just the way he is and that would cause an uproar among GH fans if it were to happen.

Sonny is the “godfather” of the soap opera world and the powers that be know that. This could be why executives refuse to leave Benard’s hair alone.

Granted, Sonny looks great whether his hair is black or where is in the more distinguished salt and pepper of late. Fans are happy to have their dimpled don around not matter what color his hair is.

Things May Be Heating Up In Port Charles

Regardless of Sonny’s hair color it seems that things could be heating up in Port Charles. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has just gotten badly burned in Sonny’s penthouse.

Now, it seems that Sidwell could have been behind this. Sonny may have a heart condition but that doesn’t mean he won’t want revenge.

Will Sonny discover who set the bomb that almost cost Michael his life? Is Sidwell’s days in Port Charles numbered now that the truth has come out?

General Hospital spoilers suggest that things could certainly get a little sticky when all of this come out and Sonny could certainly be out for revenge. Is Sidwell at the top of his list?
