General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is on her way to 007-dom. Yep, Mini-Carly seems ready to follow in the footsteps of Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers).
Is this plot connivance believable or not? Here’s what to know about this incredible turn of events that took place in PC on the February 21 episode.
Can Joss be a Spy?
Does Joss have what it takes to be a cutthroat spy? Why not, remember when her obsession was Children of the Corn? Still, it’s a bit of a stretch to think that Joss, who is her mother’s daughter, is cut out to be a successful spy.
She is just like Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and can you see Snarly being an effective undercover agent?
Then again, we can think of a couple of reasons why Joss would seem like a good candidate to Jack Brennen (Chris McKenna)—the first being that he doesn’t know her.
But seriously, Joss is morally flexible, cute, and a hard worker. These are good qualities for an undercover minx to have.
Let’s not forget the kudos she got for saving Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi). Joss saved her life after she fell into a pool while heavily pregnant.
Joss has life saving skills and can keep her cool long enough to use them. It’s her mouth that gets her in trouble.
Do You See Joss as a Spy?
But the way that Jack Brennan set Joss up to find Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was underhanded and some fans can’t get past that. Not to mention the fact that he’s romancing Carly. If we thought about this dynamic long enough we’d get major icks—so let’s don’t.
Another thing Joss has going for her is youth—she is malleable and the more she kills the easier it will get. But how hypocritical would it be for Joss to basically become Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)?
Joss was never going to be a doctor, now she’s studying environmental science which is a good cover for a spy who needs to go around the world on covert missions.
Here’s the Kicker
Now that we’ve laid out the pros and cons of Joss being a cold-blooded, calculated, mentally adroit killer, let’s expose the real reason some fans think Brennan went to the trouble of setting up Joss—Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
Jason refused Brennan’s offer to join the WSB. Is Brennan planning to ruin Joss’ life unless Jason does his bidding? Or could Brennan just be settling for sloppy seconds, taking advantage of Joss’ wish to avenge Dex’s murder?
We admit—she’s not horrible as a spy, Joss did get Anna evidence. But now Brennan has all the evidence needed to call the shots. What happens next—tell us what you think GH fans!
