‘GH’ Spoilers: Jordan Decides To Run For Mayor Against Laura

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) might run for mayor of Port Charles. After her conversation with Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove), Jordan has some food for thought that she needs to consider.

Ezra asked Jordan to resign as deputy mayor, and cite current mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis)’s close affiliation with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) as the reason for her resignation. Then, Jordan can run for mayor herself when the time comes.

Jordan Ashford Considers Ezra Boyle’s Suggestion

Jordan is good friends with Mayor Laura Collins, and Jordan would have to consider running against her friend, who gave her the deputy mayor position in the first place.

Ezra, of course, would push the issue, and urge Jordan to do so. Jordan also seems to miss law enforcement, and the rush from doing that type of work.

Jordan is also plotting to take down Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), and it is possible that she will get lots of praise from the Port Charles community when that takes place. After some debate, Jordan would decide that she should run for mayor.

Jordan Ashford Is Nominated To Be Laura Collins’s Opponent

With election time coming up in November, Jordan would be nominated for mayor, as Laura would announce her intentions to run for another term. Laura would be shocked by Jordan’s decision, and at first, she would be upset that Jordan never consulted her about her plans.

Jordan would tell her that she values her friendship, but she has to do what is best for her. Ultimately after some time, Laura would understand and say to her, “May the best woman win!”

Election Time Arrives

As the months begin to go by, Laura and Jordan would both campaign for office. Ezra would make Laura look unfavorable due to her close affiliation with Sonny and her frequent absences from Port Charles.

Jordan would be hesitant to make her friend look bad, but she has to do what she has to do.

The community would be behind Jordan for taking down Sidwell, and ultimately be grateful to her. Of course, Laura would put up a good fight, and she would be fair.

Jordan and Laura would head to head, and ultimately it is up for Port Charles to decide who the best choice is for the Mayor of their fair city! Who will win?!
