The moment may have finally arrived for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason to lay down their arms and step away from the mob life in Port Charles. Their journey has been lengthy, but every saga, no matter how tumultuous, must eventually reach its conclusion.

Could Jason be persuaded to align himself with the WSB-Port Charles is undergoing significant transformations, and Sonny’s health is a pressing concern.

Battling a severe heart condition, he is currently receiving treatment in Los Angeles and  is coming to terms with the reality that the time to transition is drawing near.

Although Sonny extended an offer to Jason to take over the business, Jason turned it down, as his focus has shifted to his son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).

GH Spoilers – The Mob Life Is Dangerous

The life of organized crime is fraught with peril, and the recent events surrounding Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) have underscored that reality in a chilling way.

The incident rattled Jason to his very core, igniting a fierce determination within him to track down the person responsible for the arson that devastated Sonny’s penthouse and shattered Michael’s world. Revenge was his first instinct, and who could fault him for that?

However, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) intervened, urging him to reconsider the potential consequences, as another loved one might find themselves in harm’s way.

So, what’s the next step- Jason and Anna have forged a strong bond, and she seeks his assistance in probing into Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).

Both are convinced he’s the one behind the attack, and the police commissioner is eager to see him brought to justice. Jason has been Sonny’s loyal companion for many years; what path does a former mob enforcer take after hanging up his hat?

He could step into a role at ELQ, but that’s not appealing to anyone, least of all Jason; having collaborated with Anna in the past, they form a formidable duo.

With their combined skills, they should be able to track down Sidwell and ensure he faces the consequences of his actions. But Jason may not want to formally move from something dangerous into something else dangerous, although he may help out.

GH Spoilers – Jason Morgan The Cop?

Should he consider joining the PCPD; probably not; he doesn’t quite fit the mold of a typical police officer-however, the WSB could be a better match for him.

It’s dynamic and thrilling, plus he’d have the opportunity to carry a firearm legally this time around-he’d be in the business of apprehending criminals, similar to what he did for Sonny.

Sure, it comes with its risks, but being on the right side of the law might just earn him some respect from his sons. Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) has already extended an offer for him to join the bureau, which he turned down.

Although Stone Cold has reservations about the WSB Chief, the recent events might prompt him to rethink his stance.
