GH Spoilers: Jason’s Flashback Of Baby Michael Hints At His Role In Raising Sasha’s Baby?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of January 6-10 showed that it was one of the most controversial and fraught times for long time fans. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was caught in an explosion and his loved ones are praying he survives.

The legacy character and fan fave was in his dad Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) fiery penthouse and he now has third-degree burns over 40% of his body.

Adding to his doom, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) injected his IV with digitalis. All of this sets the stage for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to play hero and savior, in more ways than one!

At Michael’s bedside, Jason flashed back to holding newborn Michael in his arms, promising to protect him. Did that scene foreshadow what happens next in this dramatic storyline?

Michael soon makes an ask of Jason and it could have to do with the baby that he’s having with Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson).

No one except the parents know that Michael is the father and his situation has thrown Sasha for a loop. Who can she lean on if Michael is unable?

Sasha is now part of the Scorpio family but that doesn’t mean that Michael won’t ask Jason to look out for her. But it could go much deeper than that.

Could Michael ask Jason to pretend to be the baby’s father? In doing so the baby would get all the perks of being a Quartermaine, skip the Corinthos family drama, and have Jason as a protector.

This scenario could dovetail with Jason declining Sonny’s request to run the mob biz, citing his need to be a dad to Danny Morgan (Asher Antonzyzn).

It would be a natural fit for Jason to care for Danny and Sasha and her baby. We’ve already seen the show chem test Sasha and Jason. That happened a few days ago in the Q kitchen, and they passed with flying colors!
