GH Spoilers: Jason Fakes Being A Baby Daddy, Round 3 – Fans Gear Up For Another Recycled Storyline

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) could be gearing up to fake being a baby daddy, for the third time.

The soap loves to recycle storylines, so it looks like Jason will once again lay claim to a child that isn’t his. Perhaps the third time is the charm, right?

GH spoilers remind fans that Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) unexpectedly announced she was pregnant to the Quartermaines recently, and Jason immediately put two and two together that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was the father.

Still in the midst of confronting her on this, Sasha’s baby kicked for the first time, and of course, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) stumbled upon his cousin’s excitement (in the shadows), as Jason placed his hand on her stomach.

This led Cody to assume that Jason was the father of Sasha’s baby, a fact he relayed to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruenings).

GH Spoilers – This Isn’t Jason’s First Fake Baby Daddy Rodeo

GH spoilers indicate that if Jason lays claim to Sasha’s baby, it wouldn’t be the first time he’s pretended to be the father of a child that wasn’t his.

He did this for Michael when he was born, way back in the late 1990s, until Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was declared the baby’s father, even though everyone knew that AJ Quartermaine (Sean Kanan) was really Michael’s dad.

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) didn’t want AJ to know that he was Michael’s father, as the two only had one drunken night together, and because of AJ’s toxicity.

Meanwhile, Jason also pretended to be Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) baby daddy in 2004, as Sonny was the father, and revealing the truth would’ve shattered Carly and their relationship at the time.

Baby Lila was stillborn and unfortunately passed away. Still, what will Jason’s motivation be, this time around?

GH spoilers suggest that Jason may agree to pretend to be Sasha’s baby daddy for a number of reasons. If Cody continues to tell people this fake news, Sasha and Jason may just run with to shut down the questions about the baby’s father and keep the heat off Michael.

Jason doesn’t want to ruin Michael’s chances for his custody battle with his other kids, but laying claim to Sasha’s child would ensure that he can watch over the baby and its mother until Micheal is in a position to be the father this child needs. Jason pretending to be the father would also ensure that Sasha stays put, in Port Charles.
