GH Spoilers: Jack Could Destroy Joss, But Is He Falling For Her Mother Anyway?

General Hospital Spoilers reveal WSB Chief Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) has been quite a friend recently to Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy), and somehow her mother — Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) — doesn’t know the first thing about it.

Ever since Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) was killed, Joss has taken it upon herself to figure out whodunnit. For whatever reason, Jack has stepped up to help her, but only in ways that make Joss do the heavy lifting.

Giving her friendly tips — and inside intel — he has helped her to gravitate closer to the truth, which is quite dangerous.

Joss now believes that any form of justice that can be served rests in her own hands. If she gets caught up in this game of revenge, will Carly learn that Jack led her to it?

General Hospital Spoilers — A Trail of Breadcrumbs

For some reason, Jack isn’t able to go after Cyrus on his own and apparently can’t even help with the investigation by telling the PCPD that WSB satellite footage captured Cyrus stabbing Dex in Rice Plaza. However, he hasn’t divulged that information to Joss either.

He’s letting her follow her own gut instincts, and every clue she finds along the way is proving to her that Cyrus is the person who killed her guy. Still, we have to wonder why Jack wants Joss to go down this dangerous path of playing detective.

Is it because she could incriminate herself along the way, making herself a bargaining chip in his pursuit of taking down Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)?

GH Spoilers Question Why Jack is Wooing Carly

Unfortunately, Joss thinks Jack is an ally on her side when he’s actually setting her up to take some kind of fall.

We don’t know all of the details yet, but Jack is clearly leading her into the lion’s den and it’s likely that she is going to end up in harm’s way.

Carly isn’t going to be happy when that happens, but she’ll be shocked when it turns out that everyone who warned her about Jack was right.

Still, we have to wonder why Jack is bothering with a relationship with Carly at all when he knows this can’t end well.

General Hospital Spoilers — The Bargaining Chip

It’s possible that the only reason Jack wants to tee Joss up for any sort of legal issues is because he wants to use her freedom as a bargaining chip to get information out of Carly.

Thus far, they’ve both drawn their boundary lines pretty clearly, inclusive of Carly claiming she’s not going to become a pawn in any play to get dirt on her ex-hubs, Sonny.

As her new paramour and confidante, Jack might be able to nudge Carly toward compliance with the authorities — turning on Sonny — in exchange for dropping any charges against Joss, but will she learn that it was Jack who pushed Joss in this direction in the first place?

Will she recognize that Jack’s interest in her all along was fiction — and is it? It’s starting to look like Jack may have actually fallen for his mark. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
