GH Spoilers: Is Liz Headed for Heartbreak with Lucky or a Reunion with Ric?

General Hospital Spoilers reveal Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) are wooing GH fans old and new with their sizzling chemistry over the last few weeks.

Seeing Lucky decide to stick around Port Charles instead of heading for the hills meant quite a lot to them — and to Elizabeth. Having someone in her corner as she fights to retain her future at General Hospital means even more.

But with hurdles ahead that are sure to sideline her efforts and leave her questioning who is out to get her, Lucky is going to have some stiff competition vying for Elizabeth’s attention as Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) aims to be her knight in shining armor at the same time.

Which of Elizabeth’s exes will find their way back into her bed first, and if it’s Ric, will that push Lucky out of town sooner than we hoped?

General Hospital Spoilers — Ric Lansing Makes a Good Case

Ric is a good attorney; we’ll give him that. He can argue some pretty valid points at times, and some of them just happen to work against Lucky. Ric can’t stand that Elizabeth shares such a meaningful past with Lucky. He never could.

But now that he sees this as his chance to come back into Elizabeth’s life in some way, he doesn’t enjoy having such stiff competition.

As he continues to point out Lucky’s flaws and tries to showcase the improvements he’s made in his own character over the years since we last saw him, will Elizabeth fall for his reformed act?

In contrast to Ric’s level-headed and reasonable objections lies the way Elizabeth feels when she’s with Lucky. There is a reason Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) was hinting at a reunion for Elizabeth and Lucky as soon as they knew he was coming back to town.

That’s because these two have something that other people only dream of having. It defies reason — especially the kind a jilted ex-husband attorney makes.

Lucky is there for Elizabeth every day as of late. She can tell he’s concerned for her, but that doesn’t mean he will stick around. He has loved her and left her in the past, and she’s not ready to forget about that just yet.

The fans are looking for love for Elizabeth this year — even if she insists she isn’t. We thought Elizabeth had found her happy ending with Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). It was such a shock for all of us when he was unexpectedly killed.

It didn’t seem like she would be able to move on, but Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) made it possible, only for her to lose him too — albeit under very different circumstances. Now, she’s single and fancy free, but she’s kind of falling for Lucky’s charms all over again too.
